Michelle Keegan thanked fans for their support on Tuesday after her new thriller Fool Me Once soared to the top of the Netflix chart.
The actress, 36, stars in the eight-part series which is based on Harlan Coben’s novel of the same name and has been impressing viewers so far.
On Tuesday it was number one on the Netflix charts with fans rushing to X to gush over how ‘stunning’ the ex Coronation Street star, who portrays former army captain Maya, is in the new thriller.
Reflecting on the success she took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a snap with her co-star Joanna Lumley, 77, behind the scenes at The One Show.
She penned in the caption: ‘Me and my onscreen Mother-in-law. (We love each other really) What a day!!!!

In the show, Michelle plays the seemingly widowed Maya Stern, but after installing a nanny-cam to keep an eye on her young daughter, she sees her dead husband Joe – played by Richard Armitage – on camera.
This revelation throws Maya into a world of conspiracy as she questions what really happened to her partner, and what role his family, and in particular his mother (Joanna Lumley as Judith Burkett), played in the saga.

Fool Me Once is based off of a book by acclaimed author Harlan Coben, and also stars the likes of British heavyweight Dame Joanna, The Hobbit star Richard Armitage and Irish actor Emmett J. Scanlan.
Its synopsis reads: ‘When ex-soldier Maya sees her murdered husband on a secret nanny cam, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past.’
It came after Michelle’s husband Mark Wright took to his Instagram Story to praise her new series.
Mark, 36, – who tied the knot with Michelle in 2015 – was a proud husband as he wrote, alongside a teaser clip: ‘Unbelievable show, unbelievably proud. @michkeegan you’re a superstar.
‘Fool Me Once all eps on Netflix worldwide now!! You want a binge!! Get this on now!!’
The star’s latest project comes after she enjoyed some family time as she and Mark joined family to celebrate his father’s birthday at the Corinthia Hotel last month.
Fool Me Once is currently available to stream on Netflix.
