She wrote: ‘IMPORTANCE OF RECLAIMING. At the weekend I returned to the place I got engaged.
‘I’d made a plan to go back next month but when a friend and I discovered we had no plans for the weekend we decided to go paddleboarding spontaneously. Spontaneity is one of my top values and I have realised I haven’t made enough time for it the last few years.
‘We went to the beach because he hated sand. We cooked roast pork because that’s the meal we were in the middle of making when I found out.
‘I went to the pub with a mug of tea and knew he would have found that embarrassing. We laughed as we realised our friendship bracelets have lasted longer than my engagement did.
‘And my heart filled with warmth realising my bench had been painted white for a fresh start. We had gone to the bench to paint the date of our engagement on it with ours names right after our engagement. Funny it was the classic him + Michelle 4 eva. Who knew 24 hours is forever?
‘That whole place is filled with memories, from the bed I was sat in when I found out, to where I was standing when I got that DM to the window I was staring out of when he walked out of the house and my life forever.
‘I think we can say I successfully reclaimed it. The only thing that remained was his jumper.
‘It was the only jumper I packed but when we went to the beach and they told me I’d be cold, I said I’d rather be cold than wear it. I knew it was time to let it go, that there was still some attachment to it because it reminded me of a time when I was ill.’

Despite how her relationship ended, Michelle said she doesn’t want to demonise her former partner.
She added: ‘I know we are meant to demonise exes but one thing that’s never going to leave me is he always was very nurturing and particularly looking after me, especially when I was ill and the jumper represents a loss of that.
‘It’s been sat in my wardrobe for the last few months but I hoped by bringing it, I would wear it and also reclaim it. I realised though that you can’t reclaim something that was never yours so it’s been put in the post.
‘I had a little cry letting go. I think the fucked up part about infidelity is it really messes with you what was real and what wasn’t. I think those moments of kindness and care were. I wouldn’t have been with him for 3 years if they weren’t ❤️’.
It comes after Michelle hit back at trolls who accused her of moving on too soon with dating after the end of her relationship.
The TV star is seeking out a new partner on Thursday, an app where users can only date potential suitors for 24 hours once a week in the hope of eradicating ‘serial swiping culture.’
Michelle revealed how she was left heartbroken after discovering she had been betrayed by her partner of three years, who she also met on a dating app, just hours following their engagement.
She was approached by a woman on Instagram who revealed she had slept with her boyfriend after connecting with him online while he was on a business trip.

Michelle hit back at trolls in part of her caption as she wrote: ‘For anyone who thinks it’s too soon, my ex didn’t even wait to be single to do this… THAT is the definition of too soon’
But after going public with the gut-wrenching revelation, Michelle has been on a date with a new man and shared herself getting ready on social media in early May.
She was seen trying on a series of different outfits including the colourful cardigan she wore in her post announcing her breakup – as she joked she would repurpose it.

‘Keeping it very relaxed and casual but we are seeing each other again on Wednesday.’
She added in a Story: ‘Please stop comparing, everyone’s journey is unique, if you’ve not wanted to date that’s valid too. How I’m living my life right now is not advice I’m giving as a life coach.’
Michelle went on to share a screenshot from her date as she revealed they had both agreed to keep things very casual.
Despite the infidelity, Michelle says her ex wants her back, claiming their time together was the best years of his life and he will do anything to right his wrongs.
But Michelle’s live dating profile on Thursday reaffirms she’s not interested and is ready to meet a new partner who will treat her the way she deserves.
Recalling the moment she learned of the betrayal, Michelle said: ‘My first reaction was shock, I was shaking, and I kept saying, please tell me first, I don’t want to find out from her.
‘My reaction was… you have ruined a good thing, this was meant to be the happiest weekend of my life, we were good… I was numb.’
Michelle has respected the privacy of her former partner throughout their relationship, saying it would break her heart for him to be trolled online after she has experienced fat shaming and name calling on her own profile.
She said her reason for publicly sharing her story is to support other women who have gone through the same experience and hopes her honesty will show them they don’t have to be ashamed.
