Bolton’s concert cancellation comes nearly two months after he warmly celebrated the holidays with his family one year after receiving his shock brain tumor diagnosis.
In December, he took to Facebook to share a family photo showing off his cheerful Christmas decor and festive celebration while wishing his fans well ahead of the new year.
The iconic singer looked cozy and he sported a Santa hat and grinned while sitting beside some of his loved-ones as they rung in the special day.
His home was filled with jovial trimmings, sharing a glimpse of his adorned Christmas tree and plethora of gifts in the background of the photo.
‘Sending warm wishes for a holiday season filled with peace, love, and joy. May the New Year bring health, happiness, and countless moments to cherish,’ he wrote.
‘Here’s to fresh starts and beautiful moments in 2025!’
In January 2024, Bolton revealed that he had been diagnosed with brain cancer, ahead of the holiday season, which required him to undergo ‘immediate surgery.’
In a candid Facebook post, the Masked Singer alum said: ‘I want to start by wishing everyone a very happy and healthy new year! I also want to share that 2023 ended up presenting me with some very unexpected challenges.
‘Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery.’
With hope and optimism he added, ‘Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success. I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family.’

‘It is always the hardest thing for me to ever disappoint my fans or postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon.’
He made it clear to fans that he is ‘beyond grateful for all the love and support you have so generously shown me through the years.’
