Mercedes Corby, the sister convicted drug smuggler Schapelle, has become quite the jet-setter ever since moving back to Australia.
The mother-of-three, 50, quietly moved back to the Gold Coast in 2016 after more than a decade living in Bali to be closer to her sister after Schapelle’s 2014 prison release.
Since relocating with her three children, Wayan, Nyeleigh and Nyoman, after splitting from her Balinese husband, Mercedes has kept a relatively low profile.
However, her public Instagram page gives an insight into her enviable jet-setting lifestyle in recent years, complete with numerous interstate and overseas jaunts as well as stays in hotels costing upwards of $1,000 per night.
From lunch and dinner dates with her friends to weekends away in Sydney and Melbourne as well as cruises and overseas trips, Mercedes has embraced her life back Down Under.
Her sister Schapelle, who has maintained her innocence after being incarcerated for nine years for attempting to smuggle cannabis into Indonesia, has also been enjoying a trip of a lifetime around Europe in recent weeks.
Mercedes has long held a passion for travel and enjoys adventurous activities such as paddleboarding and surfing, often enjoying time at the beach while abroad.
Mercedes’ most recent international getaway saw her jet off to Japan with her friend Celia Allard, and she gave her 19,000 followers an insight into the trip on Instagram.

She was often photographed visiting her sister where she was held in Bali’s notorious Kerobokan Prison.
Schapelle served nine years behind bars at Bali’s Kerobokan Prison after being found guilty in May 2005 of smuggling marijuana into Indonesia.
The former beauty student, now 47, was released on parole in February 2014 and deported back to Australia in May 2017. She now works as a clockmaker and influencer.
