Melissa Rivers has officially become engaged to Los Angeles-based attorney Steve Mitchel, according to Page Six.
The 55-year-old television personality was spotted while wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring during BravoCon, which was held in Las Vegas this past weekend.
The romantic status of the actress, who said that it would not be ‘fair’ to adopt a child at her age, has since been confirmed, and a source revealed that her partner popped the question on a Mexican beach last month.
According to the insider, Rivers and Mitchel first met during a mental-health centered event.
The source stated that the attorney ‘had the guts to come up and talk to her and the rest is history.’

The insider went on to state that the daughter of Joan Rivers and Edgar Rosenberg, had found an ideal match in her fiance.
They stated: ‘[Mitchel] couldn’t be any more removed from the Hollywood world, which is perfect for her.’
Details about the happy couple’s upcoming wedding have not been publicly revealed as of yet.
Rivers was formerly married to John Endicott, with whom she tied the knot in 1998.
The pair said their vows during a lavish wedding ceremony that took place at the Plaza Hotel and reportedly cost $3 million to put on.
The bill for the event function was pair for by the actress’ mother, who passed away in 2014.
The television personality and her husband also received much attention after it was revealed that over 30,000 white flowers had also been purchased for the event.
Rivers and Endicott went on to welcome a son named Edgar, 22, who arrived two years after their tied the knot.
