Melissa McCarthy looked thinner than ever on Monday evening when at the Elle Women In Hollywood 2025 event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Though the 55-year-old comedienne covered her shape in an orange-and-black floral print dress that she paired with chic rust-colored platform boots it was obvious she is more slender these days.
McCarthy has not denied using Ozempic but she has not confirmed it either.
When Barbra Streisand asked McCarthy on Instagram if she had taken the drug for weight loss she did not answer and instead she was flattered that the icon knew who she was.
The Spy star has said she got thin by changing her habits; she said during her The Breakfast Club interview that she leaned into weight loss.
It has been estimated that she has lost anywhere from 75lbs to 95lbs.Â

McCarthy explained last year that she is not using any fast tricks to lose weight.
‘What’s the hurry? I think everybody’s always kind of working on something. And I was like, “If I can de-stress and just do it slower and stop constantly trying to be on something,”‘ she told People.
‘And then it actually worked better instead of being like, “I’m gonna not do this and do this and only drink this.”‘
She added: ‘After I had kids, I was just like, “I have to be realistic. It’s not gonna go fast.”‘
When she was younger she went on extreme diets but she vowed to ‘never do that again’ because she felt ‘starved and crazy half the time.’
These days she is making homemade vegetable soups which she freezes. And she has decreased their processed food intake.Â
And the SNL favorite also took up working out when she trained for Spy. She has done piloxing, tennis and strength training.Â

The Bridesmaids star also told the site that feeling good about herself is her top priority.
‘I feel sexiest when I feel comfortable, when I feel most myself, when I’m not trying to be anything other than who I am,’ said the Ghostbusters star.
‘[I love] all of it: my flaws, my shortcomings, my body parts that you’re like, “Well, couldn’t that be better?”
‘I think, especially after having kids, I go, “Well, the alternative is pretty bad. I’ll take me as I am,”‘ according to People.
Her latest project is Unspeakable: The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey with co-stars Clive Owen and Garrett Hedlund.Â
