Melbourne ‘It’ Girl Claps Back at Trolls Over Bikini Selfie Criticism

A Melbourne ‘It’ girl has brutally responded to Instagram trolls who made derogatory comments about her body. 

Rozalia Russian, 37, who is married to nightclub king Nick Russian, took to Instagram on Wednesday to slam the keyboard warriors who criticised the way her stomach looked in her latest bikini selfie.

In the photo, the bronzed influencer wore a brown crochet bikini adorned with flowers as she stretched out on a towel with crystal blue waters behind her.

Rozalia’s hair was wet and slicked behind her ears, seemingly after an ocean dip, as she read her book and subtly showed off her large diamond wedding ring. 

But despite the serene moment captured, trolls decided to rain on the content creator’s parade.

‘What happened to your stomach,’ wrote one rude follower in response to the photo.

Rozalia simply replied, ‘kids,’ before going on a tirade on her Instagram story.

‘My stomach created this and this,’ she wrote over two photos of her kids, Willow, 11, and Kingston, 8. 

Her husband Nick is a major name in the Melbourne night club scene and co-runs Bar Bambi with Rozalia.

Ballerina-turned-model Rozalia has collaborated with brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton and L’Oréal Paris.

The couple tied the knot in 2013 and share their two children.

Following his stint as a reality television star on Temptation island, Nick ran the popular nightclub Eve Bar, where he met a slew of celebrities before selling the venue in 2015.

Rozalia – who has more than 268,000 followers – has opened up in the past about how she deals with trolls.

Speaking to Husskie, the Melbourne fashion blogger said she has a ‘pretty thick skin’ as she always takes every comment with a grain of salt.

‘To be honest, if someone doesn’t like what I am wearing or how I have styled my hair, well that’s their opinion and they are entitled to it,’ she said.

‘Once you go through some hardship in your life, it sounds cliché, but strangers typing nasty comments from behind their computer screens doesn’t really rate.’

The stunning brunette added: ‘You don’t really come across happy successful people who spend time writing nasty comments.’

The stunning brunette advised her fans to never give trolls any attention, encouraging them not to respond to the comments and or block them either.

‘If you write back then they know they have reached you and you’re validating their nasty opinion. 

‘I would rather leave them wondering if I read the comment and if I actually care,’ she said.

‘I have [also] never blocked anyone. Why block someone and let him or her know that they have gotten to you?’
