The songstress will release her ninth studio album, Sweat, on 1st May 2026 via Virgin Music Group.
The album’s title track was released on Friday and she will host a special show at O2 Academy Brixton on October 23, 2026.
Sweat is an electro-house track that samples Diana Ross’s Work That Body while Mel powers through a vintage workout-style strength routine.
Her upcoming release comes after she revealed there are separate Spice Girls WhatsApp groups amid multiple fallouts between the women.
The group, also made up of Victoria Beckham, Gerri Halliwell-Horner and Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton, was first formed in 1994 before splitting in 2000.
Appearing on Heart Radio earlier this month, Mel was reunited with Baby Spice Emma, who was co-hosting alongside Jamie Theakston as she stood in for Amanda Holden.
Jamie, 54, asked if there was a WhatsApp group, to which the singer revealed: ‘Yes, there’s several. I know there’s one without me on it.’

While Emma attempted to shut down discussion on other messaging groups, Sporty Spice replied: ‘Of course there is!’
The pair then said live on air that they are not in groups where either of them aren’t included.
Mel C told her: ‘I was going to say I think you’re the only Spice Girl where there’s a WhatsApp group of the Spice Girls without the Spice Girl. And I think you are probably the only person.’
She added: ‘Because obviously there’s ones without the others now, I’ve let that slip.’
The revelation comes following publicised fallouts between the five women since the Spice Girls was first formed.

Lack week Victoria, 51, revealed in her Netflix documentary how Mel B, 50, had hurt her feelings when she told her, ‘don’t forget where you’ve come from’.
Daily Mail previously revealed Geri, 53, pulled the plug on plans for a new tour after ‘losing patience’ with ‘little digs’ from Mel B and reportedly can’t ‘bear to share the stage with her bandmate’.
And, after Geri quit the band in 1998 during their world tour, Mel C branded her ‘untalented’ in an interview.
She made the remark during an appearance on the TV show CD: UK in 2003, after presenter Cat Deely asked her about Geri critiquing other pop acts.
