 revealed she has been in 'heavy therapy' to work on her marriage to Daryl Sabara.

The 32-year-old pop star - who shares three children with the actor - opened up about how focusing on parenting duties led to their relationship being 'pushed to the side.'

She candidly shared that she turned to marriage counseling due to a string of arguments between her and her Spy Kids star husband, 33.

Trainor and Sabara, who have been married since 2018, are parents to sons Riley, five and Barry, two, as well as daughter Mikey, whom they .

'I'm in heavy therapy,' the All About That Bass hitmaker — who is preparing to release her upcoming seventh studio album, Toy With Me, on April 24 — told Us Weekly on Wednesday.

'I was in marriage counseling while doing this album,' she continued before adding that she and her husband are 'so good now that I recommend it to everyone.'

'But that's where having the young kids, we learned, one through five, your marriage gets pushed to the side, and then you're like: "Why are we fighting? We're on the same team."

'We started marriage counseling because we realized when we were even having little, tiny arguments,' she continued. 'We were living in full different realities.'

'We would even say in our fights, "Hey, we're not even fighting about the same thing."'

During an appearance on the Not Gonna Lie podcast, Trainor shared: 'I didn't look [at the comments].

'I knew fully — because it was after all the hate I was already getting for changing, just for looking different because I took care of myself — so I was like, "Oh, they hate me now. They ain't going to like this."
