Meg has been open about her experience with menopause and how she had no idea what was happening to her, as indeed so many women don't.

She started going through the symptoms at 49 and was left feeling isolated due to the lack of information and support.

'I thought I had glandular fever – it was the menopause,' she previously told The Guardian.

The ex-wife of Noel Gallagher later found out through her own research that she had been suffering 32 of the 34 lesser-known symptoms, which include burning mouth, mood swings, problems sleeping, hair loss and low libido.

She has since become one of the UK's foremost menopause campaigners, determined to use her profile to end the stigma surrounding it.

Over the years, Meg has tried anything and everything to help her menopause feel easier.

But along the way, she has found some tips and tricks to make the experience that little bit more comfortable, along with a bone-building regime, as per the Telegraph.

While she's aware it doesn't work for everyone, she does intermittent fasting between 8pm and 8am.

This way, she feels more energised, and it gives her body time to rest and repair.

Along with this, she has an organic coffee ritual with MCT cream and drinks two to three litres of filtered water a day.

'If I try to put a ring on but my fingers feel swollen, I know that's a sign I need to drink more water,' she told the publication.

Meg, who is now completely sober, focuses on eating 99 per cent plant-based with plenty of leafy green vegetables, a little fish, and nut milks fortified with calcium.

On a typical day, Meg has a large 500ml fresh green juice made from cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, rocket and fennel.

For lunch, it's a homemade vegetable stew made with lots of green vegetables, barley, sweet potato or cous cous.

She then has water, herbal teas, bone broth, and another 500ml of fresh green juice before dinner, which tends to be a large tuna niçoise salad with all the vegetables.

Her comfort carbs include Sourdough bread with Marmite and olive oil spread.

While she eats very clean, Meg has a 'naughty' drawer in her house filled with vegan chocolate, Pulsin protein bars and 100 bags of cheese and onion Monster Munch.

Since moving to Cornwall from London, Meg spends most of her days in the sea, and she also has a personal trainer three times a week.

Usually she does upper body one day and lower body the next, followed by a cardio day and then a rest.

She wakes up at 6 am and meditates for five minutes before walking her dog Ziggy along the coastal paths.

At 10 am every weekday, she does Richie Swan's Sort Your Fit Out on Instagram TV, a 40-minute HIIT class.

This is followed by 10 minutes of yoga to stretch out her body.

On the note of exercise, Meg uses a foam roller every morning, something she claims has 'changed her life'.

'Taking Omega 3, collagen and hyaluronic acid helps with achy joints too but I definitely advise giving the foam roller a go', she said.

To combat the lack of sunlight in the winter, she does a 60-minute red light therapy session while lying on her infrared mat and doing breathwork.

And Meg is a big fan of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), which is a spray transdermal form of estrogen used to treat menopause symptoms.

For years, she used oestrogen gel, but is now using the Lenzetto 1.53 mg spray, two times daily on her thigh.

The former music PR also believes looking after your vaginal health is vital to easing menopause symptoms.

She inserts Vagirux 10mg vaginal tablets three times a week, stating that as we get older, the vagina dries and the skin thins.

Meg uses CBD oil under her tongue in the morning and three drops before she goes to bed.

She said it helps with her anxiety and has been taking it for 'as long as I can remember'.

Meg has been so impressed by the effects that she has designed her own range of CBD products, including CBD gummy bears, and started selling them through her website.

The former Britpop muse also suggests masturbating several times a week, noting that her favourite vibrator and clitoral stimulator are from Lora DiCarlo.

Another thing that helped Meg was having quality time to switch off, which includes not doomscrolling on social media for hours.

Meg frequently does grounding sessions on the grass, gazing up at the sky as dawn breaks.

She may once have been known for her hedonistic lifestyle, but she is going at her health kick just as hard as she enters this new chapter.

'Who knows what the future really holds? So much of my life hasn't been planned – you've just got to go for it most of the time,' she told SheerLuxe.
