Maya Jama has provided fans with a behind-the-scenes look at the Love Island final, which took place on Monday evening. 

The presenter, 29, shared a stunning snap of herself prepping for the night ahead, with one staff member putting her mic on, while her hairstylist Jay Birmingham finished off her hair.  

In another snap, Maya posed for a playful picture with show winners Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan. 

Maya announced that the pair, who made Love Island history as the first black couple to win, had received the highest percentage of the public vote and will take home the £50,000 cash prize.

Maya’s busty halterneck dress was styled with a pair of strappy heels, while she accessorised with a pair of gold stud earrings.

The TV presenter wore her glossy dark locks in a bouncy blown out style and she added a full face of glamorous make-up to complete the look.

And as fans wait in anticipation to find out who will be crowned the winner, host Maya shared a behind the scenes look at rehearsals for the live final.

Keeping it casual, Maya posed on set in a simple white crop top and denim jorts as the team were seen getting the set ready around her.

Unlike the rest of the series, the Love Island final is aired live as viewers vote which couple they want to win.

Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan were crowned the Love Island winners on Monday after Maya announced that the couple had received the highest percentage of the public vote and will take home the £50,000 cash prize.

Mimii and Josh have made Love Island history as the first black couple to win the show since the rebooted version of the series began in 2015.

The couple were in the final with Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies, Matilda Draper and Sean Stone and Jessica Spencer and Ayo Odukoya.

Jessica and Ayo finished in fourth place while Matilda and Sean were awarded third position in the reality show competition.

Nicole and Ciaran were the runners up in the final, as viewers ultimately voted to crown Mimii and Josh as their winners.

TOWIE star Joey Essex narrowly missed out on a spot in the final after he and Jessy were dumped from the show on Sunday evening.

While their former co-stars from the seas on returned to settle scores, they were tasked with picking who they believed to be the least compatible couple, Joey accused them of picking on him for personal reasons.
