Maya and Stormzy rekindled their relationship last year after separating in 2019.
In January, Maya hosted Love Island: All Stars in South Africa, during which she spoke about her relationship in an attempt to bond with the islanders.
She said: ‘We’ve all been through some experiences like that, so I feel like we have a bond.’
Since taking over hosting duties of the dating show in 2023, Maya’s reputation as a fashionista has only grown, with brands desperate to work with her as she socialises with A-listers.
But Maya’s celebrity status hasn’t stopped her from heading to the high street for her essentials, even bargains stores.
‘Do I still shop in Primark? I shop wherever I wanna shop!’ she said.
‘If you want pants, socks, whatever, I’ll go on the high street, definitely. I don’t feel like you should ever be too good to shop anywhere.’
Maya went on to say that people are so surprised to see her in Primark that they don’t realise it’s her, assuming she’s a doppelganger instead.
