Mauricio Umansky has admitted that he has never once asked his estranged wife Kyle Richards if she is officially dating musician Morgan Wade – despite the widespread speculation.
Kyle, 55, was linked to the Wilder Days hitmaker, 29, soon after she announced her split from Mauricio last July, with the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star recently revealing she felt ‘curious’ about kissing a woman.
Mauricio, 53, has now addressed their relationship on his Netflix show Buying Beverly Hills, revealing he hasn’t been able to pluck up the courage to ask his wife directly about her undeniable ‘connection’ with Morgan.
Speaking to a colleague in the finale episode, Mauricio confessed: ‘I have not asked her straight up. There’s a lot of news on the two of them: are they dating, are they not dating?

‘Honestly, I never asked straight up.’
His business partner then probed: ‘Are you curious?’
‘They definitely have some sort of connection together, there’s no doubt about that,’ Mauricio replied.
‘They spend a lot of time together. What that connection is, I have no idea.
‘One of the reasons I don’t want to ask is I don’t want to put the extra pressure on her.
‘If it’s working for her and giving her the opportunity to be dealing with our separation and what we’re dealing with, then I’m good with that.’
Kyle and Mauricio announced their split last July after 27 years of marriage.
The estranged couple tied the knot in 1996 and share children Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16.

Kyle is also mother to daughter Farrah, 35, whom she welcomed with ex, Guraish Aldjufrie.
Earlier this month, Kyle admitted that she had been ‘ curious’ to kiss a woman in a teaser for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finale – and spoke out on dating rumors surrounding herself and Morgan.
She also became tearful when addressing cheating rumors surrounding her estranged husband.
During the reunion, Kyle said that it was ‘nobody’s f***ing business’ as to the reasoning behind the separation, per Page Six.
She then brought up a comment she had made in the season 13 finale about how something in their marriage ‘made [her] lose [her] trust.’
Getting emotional, she told host Andy Cohen: ‘With any marriage there’s issues that you have, and they come up, and then something like I said in my interview happened where I did lose my trust.’

‘I care about my family first, and I really did try, and then when I couldn’t, the kind of things that I was – I don’t want to say putting up with – just became more apparent to me.’
She continued: ‘I guess I couldn’t do that anymore and I finally just had a breaking point.’
Mauricio and Kyle’s separation is a major storyline in the newly released second season of Buying Beverly Hills.
In one scene, Mauricio sits down with his three eldest daughters Farrah, Alexia, and Sophia, and reveals that Kyle has instructed him to go out and date.
‘I had an amazing 26 years with your mom, and I wanted to do everything possible to just save it,’ he says.
‘Your mom came and she talked to me and said, “I think I need space.”
‘She said to me, “Listen, the rules are: you go out, you date, you do whatever it is you want to do.
“I’m not going to be asking you what you’re doing, I don’t want you to be asking me what I’m doing. We are separated.”‘
His children wipe away tears as they process the news, before Mauricio says he may spend a month in Aspen to ‘clear’ his head.
‘Our life has just changed so much,’ Sophia says as her eyes well up. ‘We only even found out that there was any issues just a few months ago and now it just is like… things change so quickly.’
Farrah, who ended her engagement with her longtime boyfriend Alex Manos last year, agrees as she admits that she could have never predicted this a year ago.
‘It’s so weird to even be having these conversations,’ she tells her stepdad, who is also her boss at The Agency.
Alexia is the last to break her silence as she expresses how ‘sorry’ she is that they all have to go ‘through this.’
