Maureen McCormick became America’s golden girl at just 13 years old as one of the original members of TV’s Brady Bunch family.
The child star charmed audiences as the pretty and popular Marcia Brady, older sister to siblings Peter, Jan, Bobby, and Cindy – for five seasons before the show went off air in 1974.
She would go on to reprise her role in various Brady Bunch spinoffs after the show’s original run concluded as well as guest starring TV series and movies throughout the 70s and 80s.
But the series’ cancellation also saw her fall into crippling substance abuse which derailed her career and nearly ended her marriage to fellow actor husband Michael Cummings.
The couple tied the knot in 1985, at the height of McCormick’s destructive cocaine addiction. She admitted in her 2008 memoir that her turning point came when Cummings gave her a stark ultimatum to choose between getting sober or a divorce.
These days, McCormick, 69, is healthy and drug-free – and looked radiant as she stepped out with her husband of four decades during a recent outing in Los Angeles.

The pair, who celebrated 40 years of marriage in March, were seen grabbing lunch and grocery shopping together at the exclusive, luxury grocery store, Erewhon on August 19.
Dressed in high-waisted jeans, a bright yellow blouse, and white sneakers, McCormick looked chic and casual, while hubby Michael, 74, affectionately wrapped his arms around her waist during their errands, exclusive Daily Mail photos show.
The two grabbed a bite at trendy vegan restaurant, Follow Your Heart Market & Café, where they met up with a male friend.
After lunch, McCormick smooched her male pal goodbye on the lips and before heading to the supermarket with her husband.
Despite her success as a child star, McCormick’s real life in the years after The Brady Bunch was far from perfect.
She spoke candidly about her issues in an eye-opening tell-all, titled, Here’s The Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, in 2008.
Today, McCormick and Cummings are the picture of enduring love, marking 40 years of marriage earlier this year

The bestseller chronicled, among other things, her descent into addiction, trading sex for drugs, crippling depression, and a battle with bulimia.
She revealed her decision to get on the straight and narrow was prompted by Cummings – with whom she will celebrate 40 years of marriage in March 2025 – after he warned her he would leave if she ever did drugs again.
The couple, who share a 35-year-old daughter, Natalie, now live a quiet life outside Los Angeles.
For his part, Michael has also enjoyed a stellar career as a TV and movie actor, appearing on popular series including Criminal Minds, Fresh Off the Boat, Miracle on Ice, and Drop-Out Father alongside Dick Van Dyke, to name a few.

Marcia, Marcia, Marcia! McCormick starred as Marcia Brady, the older sister of Jan, Peter, Cindy, and Bobby, and the younger sister of Greg
Last year marked the 50th anniversary of The Brady Bunch, which featured a large blended family of six children, with three boys and three girls.
It ran from 1969-1974 and co-starred Barry Williams (Greg), Eve Plumb (Jan), Susan Olsen (Cindy), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Christopher Knight (Peter).
Jan’s catchphrase ‘Marcia Marcia Marcia’ became famous, saying it whenever she was unfavorably compared to her sister.
Robert Reed, who played patriarch Mike Brady, died in 1992 and Florence Henderson, who depicted matriarch Carol Brady, passed away in 2016.
McCormick has had much smaller TV roles in recent years, including her 2016 appearance as a contestant in Dancing with the Stars.
