awkwardly quizzed on his least favourite subject during a recent interview leaving fans his squirming.
The TV star, 35, interviewed Robert at the premiere for his new film with , The Drama, hosted at the DGA Theater Complex on Tuesday.
However, during the interview, Maura, who was wearing a leather burgundy two-piece, made a cringeworthy faux pas, according to Robert's fans.
Maura immediately brought up Twilight at the start of the interview, revealing her love for the vampire franchise - which the actor, 39, apparently hates.
Maura said in the clip: 'I'm a huge fan. Huge fan. I've watched like all the Twilight films, like a hundred times.'
Robert replied: 'Oh really?'
She continued: 'I nearly know every script at this stage.'
Robert added: 'I just realised I hadn't seen one of them the other day… I think I might not have seen the last one.'

Robert appeared uncomfortable during the questioning about the films that made him a household name and fans were quick to pull Maura up on the error.
They said: 'Huge fan, but don't know he hates the Twilight franchise'; 'I know he's tired of hearing about Twilight'; 'If you're a big fan WHY would you bring up Twilight'; 'A huge fan of his wouldn't bring up Twilight because you'd know he hates that';
'No one hates Twilight more than Rob'; 'It's a known fact he hates the Twilight series'; 'Bringing up Twilight was a huge mistake, he hates those movies';
However, other fans of the Batman star argued that Robert now looks back fondly on the Twilight series and likes to 'joke' about them publicly.
'Real fans know he only hated it when he was younger & now he likes it. Huge fans also know he even said he wouldn't be opposed to doing another one';
'Any real fan knows he said it's not cool to hate Twilight anymore and that he talks highly of them now'; 'Lmao he doesn't care. He just likes to joke about the movies'.
One person who did thought Maura did a great job was her 'American mom' Lisa Rinna, who she recently appeared on The Traitors US with.
Speaking about her friendship with Lisa in a new Cosmopolitan interview, Maura said: 'I'm sure I could learn a lot from Lisa. I call her my American mom now.
'Since coming out of The Traitors, she's been really supportive of me. It's so nice, because obviously I'm not American. I come from the middle of nowhere in Ireland, surrounded by sheep and cows.
Now that I'm venturing into America, she's like a security blanket. I look at her, and she's literally me. She is so over the top and doesn't give a shit what she says, and she loves her fashion. I just live for that.'
