Julie Goodwin shared a rare family photo while enjoying her coastal holiday with her very tall sons.

The MasterChef Australia season one winner, 53, took to Instagram on Friday to capture a candid moment from her NSW South Coast vacation with her husband Michael, their three sons – Joe, 28, Tom, 27, and Paddy, 25 – and her granddaughter Delilah, three.

In the family snap, Julie’s sons towered over her as they posed on the outdoor deck of their holiday home.

‘Family holiday! Once your kids are all grown up it’s near impossible for them to all get time off at once,’ she wrote in her caption.

‘That’s why this week has been so precious; just hanging out, playing games, going for walks and of course lots of meals together.’

‘Delilah looked happier for the whole rest of the holiday than she does in this photo,’ Julie added.

Some fans and followers of the celebrity cook took to the comments to point out her son’s drastic height difference.

‘How gorgeous! Look how giant your boys are! Mine have passed me too!’ one user wrote.

‘Wow. Getting all your schedules to line up is impressive. How tremendous,’ added another.

The cookbook author looked very different as she featured in a promo for the competition which was released to YouTube earlier this month.

In the clip, the celebrity cook was seen making a delicious salsa in a kitchen when hosts Dr Chris Brown and Sonia Kruger swooped in.

‘Add a little garnish and you’ve got the perfect salsa,’ Julia said as Sonia, 58, questioned: ‘But is it the perfect salsa?’

Julie appeared shocked by her presence as she responded with a simple ‘yes’ before Dr Chris, 45, added: ‘Is it though?’

As Julie answered in the affirmative, Sonia gripped her around the waist and lead her into a dance number.

‘Or is this?’ Sonia said as the clip cut to show Julie flaunting her moves on the dance floor.

She was garbed in a stunning red gown which hit her about mid-thigh and featured a huge floral decoration on one shoulder.

Julie was all smiles as she boogied on the iconic DWTS stairs alongside her dance partner for the season.

With her short locks perfectly curled in their usual manner, Julie accessorised with her iconic pair of frames before stepping into some low heeled silver shoes.

The clip wrapped with Julia spinning into the arms of her dance partner before cutting back to the kitchen to show Dr Chris eating the salsa dish she prepared.

Julie appeared over the moon in the promo despite recently opening up about her distressing childhood trauma detailed in her new memoir.

Her autobiography, Your Time Starts Now, described how she was sexually abused as a child and later attempted suicide as a teenager.

The TV chef, who rose to fame with her winning appearance on MasterChef in 2009, claims the long-buried memory of her abuse returned when she was 16.

It comes after the complete cast for Dancing with the Stars 2024 has finally been confirmed ahead of its premiere later this year.

In addition to Julie, four-time Gold Logie winner Lisa McCune is set to strut her stuff on the dance floor with footy star Ben Cousins and former AFL WAG Nadia Bartel.

They will join singer Samantha Jade, SAS Australia’s Ant Middleton, AFL legend Shane Crawford and Olympian and former senator Nova Peris.

Rounding out the competitors are comedian Nikki Osborne, Home and Away’s James Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens presenter Adam Dovile and chef Hayden Quinn.
