MasterChef Australia star Khanh Ong has shared the recipe of his incredible four ingredient Christmas treat – and it contains one very surprising item.
Posting an instructional video to Instagram, the celebrity chef, 30, explained his ‘Christmas Crack’ dessert is ‘really simple but you need to pay attention.’
In addition to butter, brown sugar, and chocolate, the recipe calls for Saladas crackers.
In the video, Khanh layers the salty crackers on the bottom of the tray then pours the melted chocolate mixture over it before baking.
The optional decorations, M&Ms and desiccated coconut, are then sprinkled on the top.

Khanh and former star of The Bachelor Dr Matt Agnew recently addressed rumours they are a couple.
The pair have grown extremely close, spotted holding hands, sharing regular ‘date nights’ and cuddles.
But they denied there is anything ‘sexual’ in their bond while speaking on the Feast podcast.

‘It’s the lack of affection straight men show other men that people assume there must be something sexual there,’ Matt said.
‘Being affectionate and tactile with your friends, and blokes especially need to do more of this. Everyone should be comfortable enough in their sexuality that they don’t feel uncomfortable showing affection, men or women.
‘There’s that random line in the sand – nah blokes can’t show affection – which is stupid,’ he added.
Matt went on to explain that the pair enjoy sharing a platonic cuddle as they are both single and in need of companionship.
‘Humans are very social creatures. Cuddles and embraces, that releases dopamine and makes you feel good,’ he said.
‘For everyone, women and men, cuddling is important. That physical comfort and being able to feel safe. It’s something inherently human.’

Matt added the men will call each other and say, ‘Lets have a movie night, have a cuddle’ and that ‘it makes you feel better’.
‘We usually do it on Tuesdays!’ Khanh, who is openly gay, chimed in, adding that he was feeling ‘fragile’ last Monday and they had their date night twice that week.
‘We were friends and it got to a point where we were like, “Do you just want to come on the couch and watch a movie and sit and hold hands?”‘ Khanh went on.
‘I was missing the companionship. The sex is easy but the company was the hard thing to find so it kind of just worked.’
