MasterChef Australia’s new host Poh Ling Yeow has ushered in the new year with some very cheeky selfies.
The celebrity cook, who recently turned 50, took to Instagram on Wednesday with two photos of herself sun-baking topless in her garden, with nothing but a sunhat obscuring her modesty.
Fresh-faced Poh beamed and pouted at the camera as she sprawled out on a pile of cushions, looking decades younger than her 50 years.
In her caption, the chef admitted that she’d overworked herself during the holiday period and was finally forcing herself to take a break.
‘Well, whadya know. I finally got my act together and having a day off,’ she began.

‘It’s no joke a really difficult thing for my brain type because my mode is either work psycho or pretend to relax but be testing a recipe and repoting 11 plants while writing 7 types of to do lists.’
Poh noted that being too conscientious has been a ‘problem’ in her relationships, and that she probably inherited the trait from her aunt Kim.
‘[Kim] has been a homemaker for all her life but even with mum gone and just her and dad in the house, she has a schedule like the Prime Minister’s,’ she mused.

Poh admitted that she has many friends who also struggle to relax and ‘feel wracking guilt for resting properly.’
‘With technology life is sped up and we can’t possibly think we can get away with turning up our processing speeds up in such an unnatural way, and there be no fall out,’ she continued.
‘So one of this year’s priorities is learning to rest. Can I do it? Let’s see.’
