Blige announced that her first single as a lead artist of 2023, entitled Still Believe In Love, was being prepped for release on Monday.
The performer made the news known to the public on her Instagram account, where she shared the upcoming track’s cover art.
The hitmaker also revealed that the song would feature a guest verse from rapper Vado.
Still Believe in Love is currently scheduled to be made available to the public this friday.
Blige’s most recently-released album, Good Morning Gorgeous, was released in February of last year.
The hitmaker’s first record in five years featured features from numerous artists, including Usher, DJ Khaled and Anderson .Paak.

Blige’s album was nominated for several Grammys, including the Album of the Year award, although it ultimately went to Harry Styles for Harry’s House.
The songwriter also embarked on a tour in support of her record, which ran from September to October of last year.
