Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s hit movie Deadpool & Wolverine featured a number of cameos, including Jennifer Garner’s Elektra and Channing Tatum’s Gambit.
Before the film’s release in July, She-Hulk: Attorney of Law star Tatiana Maslany, 39, was also rumored to have filmed a cameo.
However, later it was claimed that her scenes were cut from the movie, and that she had reacted angrily to the news.
The actress has now humorously addressed the wild reports, joking that it was leading man Reynolds, 48, who ‘fired her’ and that she is now ‘suing Disney.’
She mocked the rumors while appearing on the Comedy Bang Bang: The Podcast, stating: ‘I was in Deadpool & Wolverine. I had two scenes in it. And then Ryan Reynolds fired me from the show because he said, “I don’t like these scenes.”‘

‘Now I’m suing Disney,’ she added.
She also joked that her scenes were axed because she was too ‘woke’, in reference to those who criticized her She-Hulk series.
‘I always talk about how much I hate Wolverine and Deadpool. I talk about it all the time.’
‘I also wish I’d just sit down and stop pushing my feminist agenda and just realize that Deadpool & Wolverine made a lot of money and She-Hulk only made three dollars.’
‘That’s why they were getting rid of me because I had this woke agenda,’ she sarcastically quipped.
Maslany’s Jennifer Walters has been absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the release of the Disney+ TV series She-Hulk in 2022, which received mixed reviews.
There is no news of a second season as of yet.
Meanwhile Deadpool & Wolverine was a box office smash hit, grossing $636.4 million in the United States and Canada, and a worldwide total of $1.337 billion.

Maslany previously spoke out about being annoyed by the phrase ‘strong female lead.’
‘Because it’s reductive,’ the Canadian star said told The Guardian in 2022.
‘It’s just as much a shaving off of all the nuances, and just as much of a trope. It’s a box that nobody fits into. Even the phrase is frustrating. It’s as if we’re supposed to be grateful that we get to be that.’
The Emmy-winning Orphan Black actress said she’s hopeful for a day when a female portraying a superhero is no longer viewed as unique.
‘I’m really interested in when these [marginalized] voices get to speak without it being like: “Oh my God, it’s all women,” or, “Oh my God, this is a story about a queer couple,” and those stories become as innately expected as they are now special,’ she said.
