Fans are in a frenzy after finding out which a-list actress will be in the upcoming Spider-Man movie.
Social media users have dubbed the starlet and Tom Holland as the ultimate casting duo shortly after today’s cast announcement.
The actress who’s part of the dream duo is none other than Stranger Things star Sadie Sink, according to Deadline.
Sink will play an undisclosed role in the Marvel movie that will potentially be a ‘significant’ one due to the events from Spider-Man: No Way Home.
‘Sadie sink and tom holland in a movie together oh my god my prayers have been answered,’ an X user wrote.
Marvel enthusiasts have already come up with multiple theories on who she could play, which include various superheroes.

Several fans have guessed Sink will portray Jean Grey – a red-headed superhero and member of the X-Men.
‘If they have Sadie Sink play mary Jane when she could be playing Jean Grey AND WE ALREADY HAVE ZENDAYA GIVING US OUR BEAUTIFUL MJ… whatever dude,’ a fan commented.
Others believe the actress will portray famed Spider-Man’s love interests Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy.
‘I swear if sadie sink plays gwen stacy or mary jane i wont survive,’ a fan joked.
Multiple commenters also mentioned they could see themselves watching Sink play Firestar, a superhero who debuted on an episode of Spider Man and His Amazing Friends in 1981.
‘Sadie Sink would absolutely crush a Jean Grey or Mary Jane role, but I feel like she might be getting casted as Firestar here. I’ll be seated for whatever thing Marvel has for my girl,’ an X user wrote.
‘I’m seeing the quotes and replies and Firestar is a pretty cool choice too for Sadie Sink. I would be pretty excited if that were the case,’ a fan admitted.

Spider-Man: No Way Home became a highly anticipated film after Spider-Man: Far From Home was a box-office success in 2019.
The movie made over $92 million during its opening weekend and earned more than $1.1 billion worldwide.
It also marked the return of former Spider-Man characters portrayed by Tobey Maguire and James Garfield.
Other Marvel Universe actors who appeared in the film include Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, and Willem Dafoe.
It received positive reviews from critics, and it currently holds a 93 percent Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Holland confirmed his return for the fourth movie while on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last year.
The movie will start shooting this summer in London, but it’s unclear if filming will also take place in the US.
Holland, Marvel, and Sony Pictures have yet to release details on the film’s plot.
As of now, there have been no other casting announcements, but social media believes Zendaya will reprise her role.
