Marty Sheargold has shared his bizarre take on the Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban split following his fall from grace after a sexist outburst earlier this year.
The former radio star, 54, lost his job at Triple M in February when he made disparaging remarks about the Matildas and women’s sports.
Now, the media personality is back at it again as he took to Instagram on Thursday to make another slew of sexist remarks about the divorce that shocked Australia.
‘Keith Urban and Nicole have called it a day and what we’re about to witness is what happens for men when they leave a relationship,’ he began.
‘And it’s as simple as you are immediately in the wrong, regardless of what happened.’
Marty went on to say that Keith ‘is about to be at the centre of an absolute shitstorm of just innuendo, gossip, scuttlebutt, bulls***.’

‘Because that’s what we do now, we have to have a villain, and the villain, 99 times out of 100, is a man in this situation,’ he said.Â
‘We tried, interestingly, to make Hugh Jackman a villain. It was a bit harder because who doesn’t love The Boy From Oz?’
Marty then sang an excerpt from I Go To Rio before adding: ‘I mean, if you can tie your shirt in a knot just below your t***ies, you can do anything you want in this country, and that should be how it is worldwide.’
The comedian then said Australia failed to ‘turn on’ actor Hugh Jackman during his split from wife Deborra-Lee Furness because he is ‘so goddamn beautiful’.  Â
‘But Keith is about to go through it because we love Nicole. And Keith, the Caboolture kid, he’s not Nicole, I think is the obvious thing here,’ Marty said.
He finished off his rant by saying he was ‘team Nic’ and that he would be ‘more inclined to be [team] Keith if he was back on the beers’.Â
It comes after Marty was widely condemned earlier this year following his sexist outburst about the nation’s most popular sporting team.
He was speaking on The Marty Sheargold Show hours after the Matildas had been defeated 2-1 by the USWNT.

Fellow host Troy Ellis brought up the topic and Marty began his rant with: ‘There’s something wrong with the Matildas.
‘They had that wonderful tournament out here [2023 FIFA World Cup] where we all fell in love with them, even though they didn’t make the quarters [note: they progressed to the semi-finals].
‘You know what they remind me of? Year 10 girls… all the infighting and all the friendship issues, “the coach hates me and I hate bloody training, and Michelle’s being a b***h”.
‘Now I’m sorry to undermine the whole sport, but that’s what I think of it so you can stick it up your a***.’
The conversation then moved to Australia hosting the women’s Asian Cup next year.
‘Oh god,’ Marty said. ‘I’d rather hammer a nail through the head of my p***s than watch that. Got any men’s sport?’
In the wake of the controversy, Southern Cross Austereo revealed they had ‘mutually agreed’ to part ways with Marty, who later apologised for his remarks.
