She continued: ‘What a ride it’s been baby! @jackmcmanus1 Thank you for coming into my life to witness all the ups and downs and everything in between.
‘When the chips were down and everyone else left, you have always been the one to stay, always there, keeping me going and taking care of me in a way I didn’t know existed.
‘When things are flying high you stand back, silently strong and so proud…But always there if I need you. You love it when I shine!
‘You have given me the most amazing gifts – The most beautiful, special son, an unwavering loyalty & faith in me – In all I do! And an unconditional love for the true, flawed, nutty, authentic and madly in love with you, me.
‘I feel so, SO grateful that I have you in my life. I feel all the above for you too – And even more.
‘You make me howl with laughter when I’m on the verge of tears, your ridiculous talent is the biggest turn on and never ceases to blow me away and give me goosebumps & your resilience, strength and kindness, always makes me feel safe when I’m having a wobble!
‘You dare to dream like no one else I know – And you dream big… But the simple things mean the most to you. However, you refuse to give up on anything that truly means something to you too – Your love and curiosity for life is contagious!
‘I wanted to sing your praises tonight, because only you know the whole story of me and you have not only saved me, but you have helped me save, love and find myself… How wonderful is that?! The greatest gift.

Martine finished: ‘As we keep growing and evolving and living this thing called life, may it continue to be with eachother, filled with unconditional love, faith and belief in eachother…Lots of adventures and dreams realised, mixed with lovely cosy nights in just loving eachother…
‘And may we keep falling about laughing even when we get really pissed off with each other!! Today was perfect, being with family, eating, walking Don and popping to the pub for a drink! Love you Jack.’
In November, Martine spoke candidly about her struggles with chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia – a long-term condition that causes pain all over the body.
Her last acting project was 2018’s British comedy film The Bromley Boys, but she released a Christmas EP in 2020.
