Married at First Sight’s Orion admits he is ready to throw in the towel on his marriage to Lauren, following a tense disagreement over physical intimacy.
During a session with sex therapist, Dr. Pia Holec, who counsels couples that agree to get married at first sight as part of a social experiment on Lifetime’s hit reality show, the independent contractor reveals he ‘lost all romantic interest’ in Lauren after learning she had sex with someone else two months prior to their walk down the aisle.
While the revelation seemingly took his spouse by surprise, in a preview for an upcoming episode obtained by People, Dr. Pia calmly asks him: ‘Orion, how does control show up in your life for you?’
‘Well, I’m not trying to control what’s happening by calling for a divorce,’ he replies.

Dr. Pia, however, explained: ‘You are. You feel uncomfortable. So your part of control is to remove yourself from it. I do feel confident that a repair is possible but you are protecting yourself. That’s a certain level of vulnerability that you have closed off right now.’
Dr. Pia went on to remind the couple that there is ‘no such thing as a perfect marriage.’
‘Whether y’all are married to each other or anybody else, there’s going to be many uncomfortable moments. And I really don’t want to see you all give up on one another,’ she encouraged.
The TV personality, who specializes in working with minority populations in the areas of sex therapy, relationship issues, family of origin concerns, and trauma, proceeded to ask the pair if there was ‘any chance that the two of’ them would ‘be open to working’ on ‘working through’ their issues.
‘I feel so horrible that I’ve put you in the predicament to lose romantic attraction to me because through this, I have maintained my romantic attraction to you,’ Lauren told Orion. ‘But if you don’t feel like you have it in you to do it, I don’t want to twist your arm. I don’t want to force you to stay with me.’
Orion expressed that he had no desire to repair their relationship, despite the strong ‘chemistry between’ them.
While he explained that their relationship was ‘great’ when they avoided talking about ‘the big topics,’ he no longer harbored any romantic feelings for her ‘anymore.’

‘After the honeymoon, taking time and just this conversation and where I’m feeling and where I’m at, I want to continue to follow through with wanting a divorce,’ he concluded.
At this point, it is unknown if the duo are still together, but experts expected them to ‘make it.’
Earlier in the season, Lauren revealed that she was ‘not really big on labels’ about her sexuality, and chose to identify as a ‘queen.’
‘I love men. I enjoy women, but I really just want to be married to a man,’ she said.
Meanwhile, Orion revealed during a confessional that it would not ‘bother’ him if his ‘potential spouse identified as queer.’
