Married At First Sight is back for another drama-fuelled season, but one bride is already raging at Channel Nine before she’s even seen how she’s been portrayed on screen.
Morena Farina, 57, is furious after discovering her TV ‘husband’ Tony Mojanovski is still legally married to his ex-wife—making their MAFS marriage essentially void.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Morena’s outrage has been bubbling beneath the surface for weeks, with footage now capturing her unfiltered rant about the show’s production and her experience.
In the video, Morena expressed relief she wasn’t heavily featured in the show’s promotional materials.
‘If you can remove me, just make Tony love himself enough to marry himself,’ she quipped, taking a swipe at her groom and all but confirming the couple do not last the distance.
But her real fury lies in the shocking revelation that Tony is still legally tied to his ex.
Sources close to production say Morena was completely blindsided by the news, having initially been smitten with Tony.

Despite the drama, she insisted she had no regrets, crediting the experience for introducing her to lifelong friendships.
‘I wouldn’t be here tonight before with you guys, if I didn’t go on that show,’ she said, referring to three close friendships she formed during filming.
Morena didn’t hold back when discussing the show’s production team, suggesting participants were exploited for entertainment.
Recalling a conversation with a producer, she remarked, ‘All good things come to an end, my darling.’
She then hinted her time on the show was brief.
‘When it does, it ends. In saying that, I’ve got no regrets,’ she added, making it clear she was ready to move on from the experience.

During her 10-minute rant, Morena slammed the way Channel Nine shapes contestants’ narratives, revealing her disbelief at how the network had constructed her on-screen persona based on months of filming.
Morena vowed to never support the network again—despite not having seen how her storyline plays out on television.
‘I’ve learnt, I’ve grown, and I’m going to grow even more,’ she said, making it clear she was focused on personal development rather than chasing fame.
Despite Morena’s sensational claims, Daily Mail Australia understands up until now she has been playing ball with the network.
Why is Morena angry?
Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed that Morena and Tony’s whirlwind romance crashed before it even began, after she discovered her new husband is still ‘married’ to his ex.
Back in September, production insiders let slip the revelation came as a complete shock to Morena, who had been instantly smitten with Tony.
Despite this, Morena still gave him a chance, and went about her best efforts to see why the experts matched her with him.
However instead of embarking on a fairytale romance, she was spotted looking downcast outside One Global Resorts in September, suitcases in tow, having reportedly quit the show in tears.
According to insiders, Tony, 53, had separated from his long-time partner three years ago but had never officially ended his marriage.

Despite this, he entered the MAFS experiment with hopes of a fresh start, but things took a turn during the honeymoon.
‘It was one of the best days of her life, but then it all came crashing down when Tony made his bombshell confession,’ a source revealed.
An insider close to Tony shared more about the dramatic situation. ‘At the honeymoon, he brought it up. He said, ‘If I’m married, does that bother you?’ It was a mess from the start,’ they said.
‘Tony was upfront with production about his situation; he told them everything even before the show started. But he still hoped the show would help him move on.’
Morena was understandably devastated. ‘They just never really could get past it. She would always tell him to go chase his wife. The whole cast was gobsmacked when they found out he was still married,’ another source added.
‘Tony had this impression that Morena might actually help him rekindle things with his ex. He even asked the experts for advice on it. They were speechless.’
