Married At First Sight veteran Michael Goonan is engaged to his partner Maddy.
The veteran reality TV star, 34, confirmed the exciting news on social media on Monday night by sharing a precious clip of the heartfelt moment he proposed.
The precious footage shows Michael leading his partner to a wooden shed on a farm, the golden light of the setting sun casting a warm glow across the scene.
As the shed door creaks open, the camera captures the beautiful surprise inside: the interior is adorned with elegant red roses and a large sign that reads ‘Marry Me’.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Michael drops to one knee and pulls out a sparkling engagement ring and pops the question – and a delighted Maddy happily accepts.
Another photo captured the newly engaged couple happily embracing each other as they bask in the joyful news.

Michael captioned the clip with some excited words: ‘She said YES!’.Â
Many of Michael’s followers quickly took to the comments section to congratulate him on the amazing news.
‘Absolute best decision you’ve made all year! congratulations again love birds,’ one person wrote.
‘Finally! Been hoping for this forever. Congratulations,’ a second added.
Michael was paired with Stacey Hampton on Series 7 of MAFS in 2020, although it didn’t work out between them.
In 2021, Michael revealed he had ‘made peace’ with his ex-girlfriend KC Osborne after their stint on Celebrity Ex on The Beach.
Michael told fans during an Instagram Q&A: ‘I’ve made my peace with KC, but I haven’t made my peace with Stacey yet.’
The Adelaide businessman then asked his former MAFS bride Stacey Hampton if she was also willing to put their differences aside and be friends again.

‘You want to make peace? I know you’re seeing this?’ he cheekily asked.Â
Michael described his relationship with KC as a lot more ‘mature’ compared to his on-screen relationship with Stacey.
‘When it comes to feelings and that, Stacey and I would just fight for days on end, so I don’t know,’ he explained.
The mother of two had agreed to take part in the new series alongside her MAFS ex-‘husband’, but after thinking it over decided to give the show a miss.
A source told Daily Mail: ‘Stacey isn’t interested. She doesn’t care for it.’
‘She’s about to launch her clothing label and needs to stay in Adelaide for her kids. Her two boys are in school right now… they need her more than ever,’ they said.
MAFS co-stars Michael and KC – who dated for several months after his ‘marriage’ to Stacey fell apart on Nine’s social experiment – filmed Ex on the Beach in Colombia in 2021 after being granted work permits.
