Married At First Sight star Ash Galati has revealed the wild moments from his honeymoon with Madeleine Maxwell that didn’t make it to air.
The sales manager, 33, had a short but memorable stint with psychic bride Madeleine, 30, on the show before they both decided to leave the experiment.
The couple failed to form a connection and their ill-fated marriage reached breaking point after a dramatic honeymoon where they struggled to get to know one another.
Scenes from their honeymoon saw Madeleine breaking down in tears upon seeing a herd of cows and telling Ash she had been contacted by ‘spirits’ during their dinner date, leaving her groom confused.
Ash has now revealed even more ‘wild’ moments from their honeymoon that didn’t make it to screen as he gave a candid insight into his MAFS journey.

Speaking with Yahoo’s podcast Behind The Edit, Ash described their honeymoon as ‘chaos’ as he claimed that Madeleine didn’t try to get involved or get to know him.
‘There was a lot of chaos that didn’t make it to TV,’ he said. ‘You only got a taste of what went on, it was crazy.
‘You didn’t see jumping on tables, screaming at the universe, rolling around on the floor, not participating in any activity that we did. We went on a boat and she hated it, we did clay [pottery] and she hated it, didn’t participate, just wild antics.’
He claimed that there was only ‘dead silence’ when the cameras weren’t around as he reflected on his struggles to further his connection with former Home And Away star Madeleine.
Ash admitted he began to have his doubts about their connection the morning after the wedding, but decided to persevere with the experiment after getting advice from the other couples who had overcome their early issues.

‘The morning after the wedding, I was like there’s something – the vibe wasn’t there. I was like this is just weird, I don’t know if I’m in a new experience and everything feels weird, but it just felt weird being around her,’ he said.
Ash said he hasn’t spoken to Madeleine since filming, but shut down rumours that she was a ‘plant’ as he insisted he didn’t think she joined the show to ‘act’ or ‘trick’ anyone.
A MAFS cast member recently told Daily Mail Australia that ‘nobody has heard from’ Ash’s bride Madeleine since she quit the show.
It comes after Ash recently revealed the surprise groom he made friends with during his brief stint on the Channel Nine dating show.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Ash revealed that he formed an unlikely connection with Jack Dunkley after they bonded at their wedding.

‘To be honest the most genuine people at my wedding from the OGs were Jack, Tori Adams, and Cassandra Allen and Lucinda Light,’ he revealed.
Ash explained that he had ‘a good 45 minute chat’ with the Gold Coast personal trainer, but it was all left on the cutting room floor.
‘He was obviously just filling me in and he basically pulled me aside and he said, “Listen mate, I’ve got you I’m gonna help you get through this, I know what it’s like”.
‘He was very respectful to all my family, to my sisters to my aunties.’
