Their first heated exchange kicked off on Wednesday when Andrea and Richard discussed how they could save their fractured relationship after coming into conflict in recent days.
However, Richard was unable to take Andrea’s criticisms on-board and learn from his past mistakes, instead accusing her of ‘gaslighting’ when she voiced things she has been upset about.
‘Richie, you just keep choosing not to listen. I understand you’re frustrated,’ she attempted to explain.
‘Your body language now is sighing and puffing and looking away. You’re not giving me my chance to speak and have my say.’
However, he hit back with: ‘My body language is sighing and puffing? You’re gaslighting me, I’m just sitting here listening to you.’
In an angry display, Andrea then slammed her notebook hard against the table, yelling: ‘You just did it! Don’t tell me I’m gaslighting again, you’re driving me crazy!’

Despite the visible overload of emotions, Richard didn’t let up, adding: ‘You are blaming me for stuff in your past relationships. You won’t own that. I’m not that guy.’
At the height of her anger, Andrea snapped back that Richard was in fact worse than her previous exes, who she has often claimed were toxic.
Wounded by her words, Richard appeared to end their relationship for good, telling Andrea: ‘I hope you find the man. It ain’t going to be me.’
Later at the dinner party, the couple attempted to put on a united display despite the tension, but things once again came to a head.
Richard once again crossed a boundary Andrea set by bringing up her exes in front of the other couples, blaming her trauma for the breakdown of their relationship.
As Andrea looked exasperated and sat with her head in her hands, Richard said: ‘Andie has compared me to her ex in a past relationship, that’s what it’s about.’
Andrea was left hitting the table in anger at the dinner party when Richard accused her of comparing him to her ex, despite her asking him not to bring up her exes in front of the group
He went on: ‘Some of the things she’s said to me are very hurtful, very rude and very disrespectful, as if I am her ex.’
However, Andrea once again hit the table in anger as she fumed: ‘Don’t say that! For f**k sake. Listen just try, please!’
She later told producers: ‘I’m growing so frustrated with Richie. I’ve asked him to stop bringing up my previous relationships. Just his utter disregard to clear boundaries is really upsetting me.’
