Married At First Sight UK’s Luke Worley broke down in tears as his romance with Jay Howard appeared to hit the rocks, a teaser trailer has shown.
The sales executive, 30, and his wife Jay, 31, came into conflict on Wednesday when he claimed that she wouldn’t care if he got another girl’s number on a night out.
Jay was left upset by his remarks and was heard telling her fellow brides that she’d be ‘gone’ and wouldn’t put up with it if he did exchange details with another girl.
Luke then addressed the row with the grooms, but he left Jordan Gayle unimpressed as he said ‘if someone gives you an inch, eventually you’re going to take a mile’.
And tensions look set to rise further on Thursday’s episode as a preview clip showed Jordan’s wife Erica telling Jay of Luke’s comments, leaving her upset.

At the dramatic dinner, Jordan also made his opinions clear as he said: ‘He shouldn’t want to do anything that would hurt you or upset you.’
A fuming Jay was then seen crying and walking out, before telling Luke: ‘If you think that I’m a walkover, then see you later, bye bye.’
Luke then claimed that the other contestants were taking his comments out of context as he tried to explain himself to an angry Jay as their romance hit the rocks.
Breaking down in tears, he said: ‘I’m actually f**king fuming. People just take the p**s, they’re trying to ruin my relationship, it’s not good.’
The tense scenes come ahead of Luke being booted off the Channel 4 show with immediate effect after punching Jordan.
The drama kicked off on Wednesday’s episode when Jay was seen addressing her row with Luke as she spoke to the other contestants at the couple’s retreat.
Of Luke saying she wouldn’t care if he got a girl’s number, she fumed: ‘I did say well that’s just f**king common sense, you wouldn’t do that anyway. I would not brush it over and let you do stuff like that, I’d be off, I’d be gone.’
‘I said to him why would you come up with s**t examples like that?’, she said.
Shock: In Thursday’s episode, Erica tells Jay how he was speaking about their recent argument to the other grooms, leaving her tearful and upset
Not impressed: At the dramatic dinner, Jordan also made his opinions clear as he said: ‘He shouldn’t want to do anything that would hurt you or upset you’
Speaking to camera, she added: ‘I am 110 per cent not a walkover, to me that is belittling someone.’
However, Luke seemingly doubled down on his remarks as he separately spoke to the other grooms about their argument.
Luke said of his wife: ‘She’s not comfortable showing her feelings… and part of that is she never tells me off.’
When Georges spoke about his comments about getting a girl’s number, he said: ‘Over time, all of us here, if I said to you you would not get caught if you robbed a bank and got £10million, you would go out and rob a bank.
‘Over a period of time, as much as I’m confident in myself and I know I wouldn’t do anything to her, but if someone gives you an inch, eventually you’re going to take a mile, and I don’t want to be put in that situation where it’s just too comfortable.’
But speaking to camera, Jordan did not appear to agree with his fellow groom as he said: ‘He should not want to do something in the first place, it’s his wife’s emotions.’
It comes after it was revealed Luke will be booted off the show after punching Jordan in scenes yet to air.
Channel 4 bosses had to eject the Essex salesman with immediate effect after he shocked both cast and crew with his aggressive behaviour.
The broadcaster, who has a zero tolerance against violence, had no option but to axe Luke, which also marked the end of his on-screen wife Jay time on the E4 series.
The news was revealed exclusively by MailOnline last week and Jordan has since taken to TikTok to address the incident.

He said: ‘There’s a lot to say, there’s a lot that goes down but you’re going to see all the drama unfold in front of your eyes over the next couple of weeks on your TV screens.
‘The time is not right to talk now, I don’t know who is leaking it to the press and I don’t know why they’re doing it, it’s got nothing to do with them.
‘So I do agree with Luke on that, even though we don’t agree on many things.
‘Whoever is doing it, just stop. Now, when the time is right I’ll be able to tell you everything that happened and why it happened – and what really went down.
‘Stay tuned, because there’s a lot to find out.’
Tensions have been rising between Luke and Jordan with the pair eventually coming to blows over their differences in shocking scenes that were caught on camera.
Jordan was allowed to stay on the show because Luke instigated the ruckus, which he later said he was ‘proud’ of despite it being a ‘controversial’ move.
A show insider told MailOnline: ‘Luke and Jordan struggled to get along from the moment they met, but no one was expecting them to clash like they eventually did.
‘The cast attend a couples’ retreat and during dinner things got particularly heated between them and later they come to blows inside Jordan’s apartment.
‘Channel 4 bosses had no choice but eject Luke from the programme, which consequently ended his wife Jay’s time in the process… as per the show’s rules you enter as a couple and leave as a couple.
‘The fight was caught on camera, meaning there’s every chance it could be shown in the most explosive scenes ever to be aired on Married At First Sight UK.’
Married: The broadcaster, who has a zero tolerance against violence, had no option but to axe Luke, which also marked the end of his on-screen wife Jay Howard’s time on the E4 series
Luke and Jay married after meeting for the first time at the altar and quickly became close, bonding over their shared humour.
They were one of the show’s happiest couples with Luke, who quit his well-paid job to be on Married At First Sight.
Speaking at the show’s launch last month, Luke revealed: ‘I did some really controversial things in there, really, really controversial but I’m proud of doing them.
‘I had to quit my job to do the show, and I was on good money, so I had to put a lot in to do this.’
