Earlier this month, Married at First Sight fan favourite Lucinda Light opened up about her skin insecurities.
The 43-year-old shared her ‘vulnerabilities’ as she discussed her skin scarring and rosacea – a condition which causes long-term redness of the face.
And now the MAFS star has revealed she is in the process of getting her skin replenished at a skincare clinic.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Lucinda informed her social media followers: ‘We’re actually going in and through this portal of rosacea, birth mark whatever it is – age almost 44, we’re going in through this skin journey,‘ she said while in the clinic’s reception area.
‘The journey’s begun today (Monday),’ she added.

The reality TV star didn’t elaborate on what procedure she was having done.
Lucinda took to Instagram earlier this month to share a video of herself getting glammed up by Melbourne-based make-up artist Tiana Santa Lucia.
In the video, Lucinda was seen smiling as she sat in the beauty chair to have her hair and make-up done for a stunning photoshoot.
She looked effortlessly elegant in a series of gorgeous evening dresses and opted for a high-glamour make-up palette to complete her looks.

In the caption, Lucinda admitted she was ‘horrified’ when she saw make-up artist Tiana had shared the makeover video to TikTok with a fresh-faced shot of herself at the start of the clip.
Lucinda said she would have asked for the make-up free footage to be deleted if she’d realised, as she discussed her long-term insecurities with her skin.
In a powerful message, Lucinda promised to have more ‘compassion’ for herself and said she wants to try and ‘preserve’ her face without the use of Botox or injectables.

In a body positive caption, she penned: ‘This is a vulnerable share, it’s about my skin which I’ve always been really conscious of. This year as a gift to myself, I’d like to finally fix my face and get to the bottom of my scarring/rosacea.
‘There were many years in my 20s when I would only let my boyfriend walk to one side of me. Most days I wear a bit of make-up to cover it up.
‘I didn’t know the make-up artist was going to post this TikTok video of me really raw and unfiltered in unflattering light as I was getting ready – if I’d seen the vids she took of me pre shoot, I would have made her delete them.

‘I was horrified when I first saw this video but it’s out now and it’s time to acknowledge and take action and have some compassion for myself. I want to preserve my face but without using injectables or botox.
‘I want to represent the wild natural woman that’s radiant and confident, from any angle. I’m living on the Great Ocean Rd in Victoria at the moment so looking for a next level practitioner that can fully take me on the journey, in and through that’s based in Melbourne.
‘If you know an exceptional skin specialist or dermatologist, I’d be utterly delighted to know about them. One day when I meet my life partner, I’ll be all glowy and dewy and okay with my face.’
