Married At First Sight groom Dave Hand suffered an embarrassing moment on Wednesday when he fell for a brutal prank.
The towering tradie, 36, found himself accidentally sending love to Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs when one fan sent him a seemingly innocent request on Cameo.
The controversial American rapper, 55, is currently facing numerous accusations of sexual misconduct for incidents dating from 1990 to 2023.
Dave was one of the first MAFS stars this season to charge followers $72 on the video platform for clips of him wishing happy birthday and giving out pep talks.
But it seems his attempt to monetise on his 15 minutes of fame has backfired as one controversial request has gone viral on TikTok.
A MAFS viewer shared a clip online of the reality TV star sending his love and support to P Diddy after one fan posed as ‘Puffy’ on Cameo and requested a video from Dave.

Puffy is one of P Diddy’s previous monikers.
In the video, Dave says: ‘Hey Puffy, you’re a bit lonely at the moment. Look brother, just reach out to your friends and family, I’m sure they’ll be able to help ya.’
Dave went on to mention Cassie, who is an ex-girlfriend of P Diddy who alleged she was the victim of ‘abuse, violence, and sex trafficking’ while dating him.
‘As for your ex, Cassie… I’m sure she’ll forgive you for anything that’s caused this breakup,’ Dave said, unaware he was talking about the singer Cassie and P Diddy.
‘Just reach out to her and let her know how much you love her and that you’re sorry… I don’t know exactly what you’re going through, but you’re going to be alright.’
TikTok users flocked to the comments of the video, with many stunned as they believed Dave was actually addressing P Diddy in the clip.
‘Is this AI cause what,’ one person wrote, as another said: ‘This is something else.’
A third added, ‘Bro do you need the baby oil?’ while one wrote: ‘There’s no way.’

Some fans were left stunned by the video, while others quickly realised Dave had fallen for a prank
However, others caught on to the fact Dave had been stitched up by someone.
‘Bruh it’s a cameo, he’s obviously making a video for whoever paid for it, someone’s probs pranked him,’ someone explained.
Another user commented: ‘Haha stitch up, well done.’
It comes after MAFS spiralled out of control on Wednesday night when Dave confessed to Jamie Marinos he doesn’t have feelings for her.
Dave, who appeared to be head over heels for Jamie, 28, these past few months, suddenly changed his tune after spending a few days with bride Veronica Cloherty.
And tensions boiled over during the dinner party this week when Dave was put under the spotlight by the other contestants.
But Jamie was left sobbing uncontrollably when Dave appeared to meet her fears about their relationship with cold indifference.
His sudden change of heart left Jamie and the other contestants confused after he spent weeks claiming he could see himself falling for his bride.
