They may have met under unconventional circumstances, but Married At First Sight couple Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels’ relationship is stronger than ever.

The reality TV couple put on a loved-up display as they stepped out in Melbourne on Saturday to celebrate Jeff’s milestone 40th birthday at The Valiant Cocktail Bar.

Rhi, 34, turned heads for the celebration in a stunning long white ruched gown that hugged her curves in all the right places.

The IT account manager oozed glamour in the figure-hugging dress, which featured a thigh-high split and delicate spaghetti straps.

She accessorised with a sleek black shoulder bag and silver watch, while her dark locks cascaded in voluminous curls.

Her bronzed makeup look enhanced her natural beauty, with a soft nude lip and faux lashes completing her ensemble.

Jeff, who is an electrician and former Neighbours actor, coordinated with his TV bride in an effortlessly cool all-white ensemble.

He wore a textured short-sleeve shirt layered over a fitted tee, teamed with matching trousers and fresh white sneakers.

The couple were all smiles as they strolled through the city streets, stopping briefly to share a laugh and exchange affectionate glances.

Their outing comes amid growing speculation that Rhi and Jeff have become one of the strongest couples of this season of MAFS, despite a rocky start to their relationship.

Fans have been quick to praise their undeniable chemistry, with many hoping the pair will go the distance beyond the reality TV experiment.

The couple are tipped to be the only couple to last the distance. 

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, Rhi recently opened up about dating Jeff for the second time.

‘It was surreal. You sign up for an experiment where you’re marrying a stranger. And then… I married someone who I’d already dated! It was a pretty crazy experience,’ Rhi began.

Rhi’s overwhelming surprise was crystal clear when she walked down the aisle, and immediately recognised Jeff.

‘I think the look on my face and me stopping at the end of the aisle says it all,’ she said.

‘I remember thinking, “How is this going to work?” That was what made me stop… I was so shocked to see him standing there!’

The big moment also captured Jeff’s stunned reaction upon seeing the Melbourne-based fitness blogger walk down the aisle.

Jeff immediately began laughing when he saw his glamorous bride Rhi walking up to meet him.

As she reached the altar, Jeff said: ‘Hi Rhi,’ in a clear sign of their past connection, going against the show’s famous concept that the couples marry upon ‘first sight’.

In response, Rhi looked equally as shocked as she declared: ‘What the hell?’

Despite their awkward history, the pair promised to work hard at developing a relationship for the sake of the experiment.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, Rhi recently opened up about the bizarre experience of being paired with Jeff, a man she had briefly dated

‘We made a pact we’d give the experiment 100 percent. We said, “We’ve been paired together for a reason, let’s really give it a go.” You’ll see in the coming weeks we gave every task our best shot,’ Rhi explained.

Although they briefly dated, they never introduced each other to their loved ones, which meant their wedding guests were none the wiser.

Rhi admitted she went into the dating show completely blind and had no idea what was in store for her.

‘Jeff and I had no idea we were going to be on the show together… absolutely not. I was genuinely shocked,’ she said.

‘I don’t know if the producers knew… Maybe? I think it was just a fluke.’
