Mark Wright’s mother, Carol, has revealed the reality of babysitting his and Michelle Keegan’s daughter, Palma.
The former TOWIE star and Fool Me Once actress, both 38, tied the knot in 2015 and welcomed their first child, Palma, nine months, in March 2025.
According to Carol, 65, Palma is a delight to babysit as she opened up to Mark’s sisters, Natalya, 25, and Jess, 40, on their family podcast Wright At Home.
Carol told her daughters: ‘I took Palma shopping the other day and she is just so good, she just loves to be noisy, busy, shopping.’
Jess echoed Carol’s sentiments as she said: ‘It is not normal how amazing that child is, it is not normal.’
The comments came as Jess became emotional as she spoke about the ‘ups and downs’ with her own son, Presley, because she has been questioning her own parenting choices.

Jess, who shares her two-year-old son with husband, William Lee Kemp, was reassured by Jess and Carol, who said it is normal and that every child goes through it.Â
Carol has also recently given a surprising insight into Mark’s marriage with Michelle during another episode of their family podcast where she revealed she ‘holds back’ to avoid rows.
Reading a letter sent in from a listener, Jess said: ‘Whenever my mother-in-law comes over, she acts like I stole her son.’
Sharing her thoughts on the situation, Carol said: ‘It’s a hard one because everyone’s sons are like, you know, they’re your sons and… a woman comes along, and they do take your son.
‘But I’m a bit different because I actually hold back because of that reason.
‘I always think that when the girl comes into our family, it’s quite they feel a bit overpowering to so many of us, so I seem to be like I hold back a bit.’
Michelle was every inch the doting mother as she recently joked about her ‘new normal’ with her baby daughter while on a family holiday.

The Coronation Street actress shared a clip of herself to Instagram on Tuesday while she soaked up the sun on her tropical getaway.Â
She completed the look with a white linen shirt and gold minimalist jewellery as she sported a low ponytail.
In the clip Michelle could be seen using her foot to rock Palma in her pram.  Â
She wrote: ‘My new normal on holiday. Shade, find a quiet place, cramp in foot from rocking, forget my headphones.’
