Mark Wahlberg is in Australia ahead of filming a new movie. 

And the American actor enjoyed some down time Down Under before getting down to work. 

The 52-year-old took in a game of gold in Sydney with friends on Sunday and appeared relaxed and in great spirits. 

Mark opted for aa classic golfing ensemble including a white polo shirt and matching trousers. 

The Ted star added aa grey cap with a Municipal logo on the front and had on a pair of golf gloves, as well as Municipal brand sneakers.

Mark was spotted touching down at Sydney Airport via private jet last Friday.

The superstar cut a casual figure in a white T-shirt and blue trousers as he disembarked the luxury aircraft after the long flight.

Mark is thought to be heading up to the Gold Coast to film a movie, but little is known about the mystery project.

The Ted star’s upcoming projects include Six Billion Dollar Man and The Roman, while he recently also starred in Arthur the King and The Family Plan.

Mark has previously visited Australia on a business trip and has gushed over his love for the country. 

The Hollywood star told the Saturday Telegraph back in 2021 that he’s hoping to shoot a movie on the Gold Coast soon and that he wants to bring his family with him.

‘I’m looking forward to coming back,’ he said.

The deal is worth more than $50million and employs 500 staff, and sees movie-themed restaurants open in 15 locations inside or next to the chain’s cinemas. 

‘I am partnering up with the Mustaca family and hopefully we will be not only bringing you Wahlburgers but wonderful cinematic experiences,’ he told the publication.

‘What we are really focusing on now is creating exclusive content just for the customers. So people will see movie trailers early and all that stuff,’ Mark said.
