Mark Beretta and his wife Rachel have split after 22 years of marriage, sources have told Daily Mail Australia.
The Sunrise star and his former partner, who married in 2001, are said to have quietly parted ways in recent months.
The couple, who met in 1999, share two children, daughter Ava, 18, who works as a baker, and son Dan, 15.
There were signs of trouble leading up the the news, with the pair placing their Mosman home on the market in February.
The sports reporter eventually sold their Balmoral Slopes home for $13million. They had to settle for less than their initial expectations, slashing the price by a jaw-dropping $1.75 million.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom haven struggled to attract potential buyers.
The Berettas later decided to knock off an additional $750,000 before finally sealing the deal in May.
The couple had spent the past few years rebuilding the Mandolong Road house, which they bought in 2016 for more than $6million.
They are understood to have spent more than $900,000 on its renovation, according to council records.
In September, Mark was spotted zipping around in a high-performance, $275,000 black Maserati.
He was photographed leaving the Channel Seven studios in Eveleigh, Sydney, in his luxurious vehicle.

While it’s unclear when he purchased the expensive car, it could signal a new era of single life for the popular television presenter.
Mark has previously spoken fondly of his wife, describing how they fell for each other after being set up on a blind date by friends.
‘(My friend) said to me, ‘If you don’t come to the Middle Park Hotel tonight, you will regret it for the rest of your life’,’ he told The Daily Telegraph in 2017.
‘So, I actually did a U-turn and went back. Rach and I talked for about 20 minutes, and I just went, ‘Wow, she’s awesome’.’

Earlier this year, he described his family life as ‘full on’, explaining that in addition to his wife and son, he also lives with one grandchild, his teenage daughter Ava’s son, as well as her partner.
‘There are our children, Ava and Daniel, Ava’s partner Sam and our grandson Arlo, so it’s a full house,’ he told The Australian in July.
‘The house is built on a hill, so it’s set over three levels and we are lucky enough to have a view over the beach below and a pool out the back, which we love.’
In 2021, Mark told New Idea he misses out on ‘family time in the morning’ because of his early starts.

In hindsight, he said wishes he’d spent more quality time at home with his children when they were younger.
‘When the kids were little, they went to bed early and all the lights were off in our house by 7pm.
‘But now they are staying up later and sleeping in, and you’re missing that family time in the morning,’ he said.
‘Looking back, you think, I would have loved to spend more time at home, but life is what it is and you make the most of it.’

Despite this, Beretta has ‘no complaints’ about his job and is ‘very grateful’ to be in the position he’s in because it has given his family ‘extraordinary benefits’.
When asked what Ava and Daniel think of seeing their father on TV, Mark said they ‘take it all in their stride’.
He said they initially thought it was ‘dorky’ before realising it’s ‘not so bad’ – especially when he was able to take them both to the Sydney Opera House to see Katy Perry perform live.
Mark has bonded with his teenage children in recent years after they developed an interest in his lifelong passion for motorsports.
‘We go to the track quite a bit and they really enjoy it,’ Mark said, adding: ‘Not quite to the same extent as me, but they’ve got the bug.’
Describing his children in Now To Love, Mark said, ‘I have a very thoughtful daughter who’s just like her mum and a son who’s pretty good too.
‘You do your best and you try to guide your kids with your values and just hope they come out happy and good community people who have a good sense of what they can do to help other people and an awareness of others.
‘That’s sort of all you can hope for’ he added.
