Earlier this month, the Sunrise star and his former partner, who married in 2001, confirmed they quietly parted ways in recent months in a statement.
‘At the start of the year, after a great deal of reflection and 22 years of marriage, Rach and I came to the conclusion that a separation was best for us,’ Beretta told Daily Mail Australia through a Seven spokesperson.

The couple, who met in 1999, share two children, daughter Ava, 19, and son Dan, 16.
There were signs of trouble leading up the split, with the pair placing their Mosman home on the market in February.

Meanwhile, Beretta revealed he has had some good news amid this difficult time, and posted on Instagram last week that his father had won his battle with cancer.
The sports reporter made the incredible announcement last week when he thanked medical professionals for ‘saving my dad’s life’.
In a heartwarming Instagram post, the journalist shared a joyful selfie of himself smiling on the beach alongside a lengthy message about the happy news.
