Mario Lopez showcased his timeless charm as he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday.
The 51-year-old Saved by the Bell alum looked sharp in a classic navy suit paired with an unbuttoned white oxford shirt, flashing his signature megawatt smile during the afternoon ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard.
Lopez’s family, including his wife, Courtney Mazza, and their three children—14-year-old Gia, 11-year-old Dominic, and 5-year-old Santino—were by his side in full support, proudly posing with him next to his personalized star.
Mario’s buddy, Mark Wahlberg, was also there to give a heartfelt speech in his honor, and the two shared a warm hug by the podium.
Wahlberg kept things casual, sporting khaki pants and a T-shirt with a white baseball cap turned backward.

Lopez was discovered by a talent agent at a dance recital when he was just 10 years old, leading to his professional acting debut in the ABC comedy a.k.a. Pablo, which aired for six weeks in 1984.
Known for his breakout role as A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell and his long-running gig on Access Hollywood, Lopez continues to make waves in the entertainment industry.
He is officially the latest star to partner with Great American Media, signing a ‘multi-picture, multi-year deal’ with the organization earlier this year.
He’ll soon be starring in Great American Media projects, including their networks Great American Family and Great American Faith, with a focus on showcasing diverse talent in front of the camera.
Lopez has a major role in Great American Christmas 2024 and will star alongside his wife, actress Courtney, in his first holiday film for the network.
‘Throughout my career, I’ve aimed to create a body of work that appeals to diverse audiences and, above all, brings joy to people,’ Lopez said in a statement.
‘At this stage in my life, family is the most important thing to me.’

Great American Media’s CEO, Bill Abbott, praised Lopez’s four-decade-long career, noting how he’s entertained millions since his Saved by the Bell days.
‘The world loves Mario Lopez,’ Abbott added. Other notable stars like Lori Loughlin, Danica McKellar, and Cameron Mathison have also joined forces with the network.
Candace Cameron Bure, who partnered with Great American Media in 2022, made headlines when she suggested the network would ‘keep traditional marriage at the core’ of its films, sparking backlash for excluding same-sex couples from leading roles.
Despite the controversy, Lopez remains focused on creating ‘uplifting, inclusive, and diverse content.’
