Marie Osmond gushed about being a grandmother to her eight grandkids.
On Wednesday, the 64-year-old singer made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show and said having grandchildren is even better than having children.
‘I thought I’d never love anything as much as my children,’ she told Barrymore, 49, on her show about her surprise at how much she enjoys being a grandmother.
‘Oh my gosh, grandchildren are like having your kids [but] on steroids,’ she said. ‘I mean, it’s just, like, so cool. I can’t even tell you.’
The Paper Roses hitmaker — who exclusively told DailyMail.com earlier this year that she tries to stay in shape for her family — said as a mother, she holds much more responsibility, but as a grandmother, she can ‘do anything I want’.

‘And as a parent, you have to guide them,’ she explained. ‘You’re not their friend; you’re their parents.
‘When you’re the grandma, who cares? I can do anything I want,’ she said.
On the talk show, she spoke about remarrying her first husband Stephen Craig Sr. and said they prioritize spending time with their grandkids.
Osmond and her first husband share son Stephen Jr., 40.
She shares seven kids with her ex-husband Brian Blosil. She and her second husband share four daughters — Jessica, 36, Rachael, 34, Brianna, 25, and Abigail, 20.
They also share sons Brandon, 27, Matthew, 24 and Michael, who died by suicide at age 19.
Osmond is a grandmother to a total of eight grandkids.
Earlier this year in February, she exclusively told DailyMail.com that she stays fit in order to keep up with them.

‘If I’m at the end of the life, I want to spend time with my family,’ she said.
‘One reason I stay in good shape is because I wanna go bike riding with my grandkids,’ she told DailyMail.com.
‘I wanna be the fun grandma and you can’t do that if you don’t feel great,’ she added.
‘Those are my priorities for me,’ she continued. ‘I want my grandkids to know me — the real me, not the Marie Osmond they see on TV — but I want them to know who I am and that’s a real time commitment.’
