Mariah Carey wore a $42K diamond butterfly ring over latex gloves while making Thanksgiving dinner for the holiday.

On Thursday, the 56-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a video of her in the kitchen making her ‘annual anointed greens’ alongside a chef. 

In her caption, she wished her fans a ‘Happy Thanksgiving!’ alongside pink heart emojis. 

The multi-Grammy winner — whose teen daughter Monroe Cannon recently made a rare comment about Nick Cannon’s nine younger children — wore a white knit Dior sweater with black leggings as she cooked a large batch of produce. 

She started the beginning of the video with a bright smile as she addressed her 14.8 million Instagram followers. 

‘We’re making some greens, and I’m very excited about it because it’s Thanksgiving.’

And the crooner was singing while adding chicken stock and spices to the steaming batch of greens. 

At one point, she added: ‘Yes, I’m wearing gloves because that’s what I like.’ 

She explained that she was seasoning her dish with a generous helping of parsley as well as ‘bronzed’ garlic and red pepper flakes.
