Mariah Carey has officially launched the holiday season in a brand new iconic video where she transforms into Mrs Claus.
The famous pop star, 56, who is also affectionately known as the ‘Queen Of Christmas’, continued her annual tradition with the new clip.
Posted to her social media channels as this year’s Halloween drew to a close, Mariah could be seen in a stunning all white angel-like outfit with wings and feathers.
The scene is set as Mariah discovers her cosmetics have been pinched by a striking unhappy elf.
She can then be seen raising her arms as she declares with her famous phrase ‘it’s time’ before the elf is turned into a snowman and she magically changes into a red belted Christmas dress.
The hitmaker flies over a snowy New York City delivering presents while in command of her sleigh as her 1994 classic All I Want For Christmas Is You plays.

Earlier this year Mariah faced a lawsuit accusing her of ripping off the lyrics and melody of another song.Â
She was accused of copying Troy Powers and Andy Stone’s 1989 song – which is also named All I Want For Christmas Is You – in a 2023 lawsuit, in which they alleged her 1994 holiday track was similar to their own both musically and lyrically.
A judge determined that the pair did not have enough proof demonstrating Carey ripped off their track, according to People.
Last month Mariah arrived in Sydney for her first Australian tour in 11 years.Â
The pop star was surrounded by a large entourage and security team, who handled her baggage for her.
She took the stage at Brisbane Showground alongside the likes of Pitbull and Wiz Khalifa.

Mariah then had a gig in Sydney, shortly after her arrival by private jet.
The star thrilled her fans as she reacquainted herself with an iconic Aussie delicacy in Brisbane.
During a break in the set, Mariah sat on a stool and produced a jar of the ubiquitous Australian spread, Vegemite – with some fans recognising the stunt she was about to pull.
She proceeded to dip a teaspoon into the jet-black concoction, coming up with a scoop that would make even the most seasoned Vegemite connoisseur wince.
