Maria Thattil turned heads on Saturday evening when she rocked up to the NGV Gala in Melbourne sporting a stylishly coiffed brown bob and a cream skirt.
On Sunday, the former Miss Universe Australia, 30, shared a video to Instagram revealing that things were not as they seemed when it came to her slick hairdo.
‘I got lots of compliments on my hair last night but… it’s a wig!’ she told fans, as she presented the brown short hair wig to the camera, in contrast to her natural long black locks.
‘It’s a wonder I got all this hair under. My actual hair could not be any more different to what I had on last night. I really loved it, I loved it lighter and as a bob.’
Thattil then teased her fans that a dramatic hair change was on the horizon for her in the near future.

She added a pair of teardrop statement earrings and opted for a clean and bronzed makeup look with a plum lipstick.
