Chris Taylor has revealed the comforting words Love Island fan Margot Robbie said to him about his Barbie Performance.
The TV personality, 33, who is returning to the villa for the show’s All Stars spin-off, had a cameo appearance as a version of Ken in the 2023 blockbuster.
Margot, 34, is a huge Love Island fan and offered Chris a part in her Hollywood hit after he chatted to her about his friends’ micropenis.
And as the reality star soaked up the fame and hype on the red carpet during the film’s premiere in July 2023, the Australian actress comforted Chris by revealing that many people who attended that evening were in fact, cut from the movie.
He told MailOnline: ‘No, I don’t have personal contact with Margot Robbie. I saw her at the premiere and she gave me a hug and said ”there was people that were cut from this film, and you’re still in it, and I’m buzzing about that”, so that was very nice.

‘I was speaking to her husband after and he was just saying Margot was like ”we have got to get Chris in this film, so that is nice” but no contact since, she is obviously very busy.’
Chris’s Barbie part involves him saying one line: ‘And the Nobel Prize for horses goes to Ken!’
The ITV contestant from Leicester also revealed an ’embarrassing moment’ he had while he was halfway through filming the iconic motion picture.
In front of A-list celebrities such as Ryan Gosling and Ncuti Gatwa, Chris admitted that he misidentified a man on the set as Chris Evans’s brother.
Speaking of his cringe moment, he said: ‘Oh, there was a really awkward moment when we was literally halfway through filming. So I’ve got, like, an Avengers sleeve on my left arm and I’ve got Chris Evans tattooed on me, obviously Captain America.
‘And I seen on the call sheet that his brother was in the in that scene, so I just basically picked the guy that looked most like Chris Evans and was like, ”Oh, I’ve got your brother tattooed on my arm” and he was like, ”What?” and I was like ”yeah, your brother, I have got him tattooed on my arm” and I lifted my sleeve so I can show him.
‘He’s like, Oh, no, I’m not Chris Evans’s brother. So that was really uncomfortable because I was also in front of, like, a huge audience of people like they had an audience, but like facing me like all like supporting actors. And they were basically silent in the entire room and obviously, like, Ryan Gosling was there and so on and so forth. So yeah, quite cringey on my part.’
While the TV sensation has been making big moves since his departure from the show in 2019, he is now in South Africa with 11 previous contestants, hoping to find a Barbie to his Ken.

Still in the dark about what girls are set to return to the villa, Chris revealed that he hopes to see Sammy, Joanna and Shaan.
But he may be left disappointed as none of his desirables have been confirmed in the lineup.
Conscious of the potential big age difference between him and the other contestants – the show’s youngest contender was aged 18 – Chris admitted that the youngest he typically couples with is 25.
But the reality star admitted that he is young at heart and has dated 23-year-olds in the past, so it will depend on the person.
He said: ‘I don’t think I’d go, like, below 25 because when I talk, I use a lot of references, and if people don’t know who the Thundercats are, or, you know, they’ve not used the fax machine like, how are we going to get on, possibly. Do you know what I mean? So yeah, that will definitely be a factor. Maybe 24.
‘It really depends on the person, though, but in my experience, I’ve dated sort of like 23, 24, because obviously I’ve got a young soul anyway, and, you know, like, can be first at fine but like you, you start to see the cracks over a period of time that you might not see in someone that’s kind of like a bit more emotionally mature, so find out. But I am basically a child at heart, so I don’t know.’
When Chris appeared on British screens for the first time, he captured the nation’s hearts when he became emotional over the friendships he has made while on the show.
The reality TV hunk opened up and revealed that he has felt ‘like a bit of an outsider’ for most of his life.
When asked if fitting in with the team will be equally important now that he has shot to fame, he said: ‘It’s always just been something that I’ve struggled with, basically most of my life just feeling like a bit of an outsider. So yeah, I do kind of feel like get emotional when I’m kind of accepted within a group.

‘I just generally feel like I’ve got a bit of a weird, different brain. And, I don’t I don’t know if I’m annoying people or whatever else it is so like when I actually, like feel like I’m part of something, it is quite nice.
‘So, yeah, I mean, it is going to be the same in that sense. I’m probably gonna go through that same journey as I do anytime I go into any new group of people.’

Margot, who hosted a Love Island-themed party to celebrate turning 30, met Chris at a film premiere afterparty where the two became better acquainted, and she expressed her fondness for the show.
A year later, Chris was contacted about featuring in Barbie, later attending the star-studded European premiere in London with A-list guests, including Dua Lipa, America Ferrera and Sam Smith.
Writing on Instagram, Chris said: ‘This will sound made up, but I’m in the actual Barbie film. No bloody idea how but here we are. I’m an actual Ken.
‘Wish I had more to say about this, but I still think I’ve imagined it. Thank you to the person who made this happen, you know who you are, you glorious ray of human sunshine.’
Love Island: All Stars, presented by Maya Jama, begins on Monday January 15 and will see Islanders from the past date each other at a villa in South Africa.
The lineup includes TOWIE star Elma Pazar and 2018 Islander Georgia Steel, while show legends such as Olivia Attwood are expected to make cameo appearances.
The All Stars series replaces winter Love Island, which was scrapped for a second time this year after it failed to match the same ratings as the summer season.
