Margot Robbie has been sweetly upstaged by her baby son.
During an interview with Access Hollywood last week, Margot’s 10-month-old child began to cry in the background – turning the conversation from the actress’ new movie A Big Bold Beautiful Journey and towards her baby.
‘I’m so sorry by the way for how loud my baby is,’ Margot, whose son was off camera, said.
‘It’s a great soundtrack isn’t it? Great soundtrack!’ her co-star Colin Farrell, 49, chimed in.
Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans briefly ended the interview before resuming, and they proceeded to gush about Margot becoming a mother.
‘I’m sorry, I had to stop the interview for a sec, ’cause like isn’t there a part of you that’s like, “Yes!… That’s my baby right there!”‘ Scott asked Margot, 35.

‘Literally, every time, I want to go, I know, “That’s my baby! That’s my baby!”‘ she said, before telling Colin, ‘You were there while he’s been growing.’
Margot and her husband Tom Ackerley welcomed their baby boy in October 2024.
Last week she also made her first comments about becoming a mother, describing it as ‘the best’ in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
‘It’s like, [when] you try to explain to someone who has kids, you don’t need to because they get it, and if they don’t, it’s probably just really boring to hear,’ she said.
‘So, it’s kind of like, “It’s the best,” you know?’ the actress added.
The two new parents are said to be over the moon with their son.
‘They waited a long time to get pregnant, so it was almost unbelievable when the baby actually arrived,’ an insider told People in November.
‘They’ve both been settling into being parents. They’re homebodies so it’s been lovely to spend the time just them, at home with him,’ the insider added.

The movie tells the story of Sarah (Robbie) and David (Farrell), who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding and are soon swept up in an otherworldly adventure to relive their past milestone moments together.
Sony Pictures has released the first trailer in June for the film, that follows the two strangers on a bizarre journey through their own pasts.
They discover a strange door in the woods that is somehow a portal to their pasts, as they relive their core memories together, like David’s unrequited love and Sarah’s mother dying.
The film also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Hamish Linklater, Lily Rabe, Billy Magnussen and Jodie Turner-Smith, and hits cinemas on September 19.
Fans are already showering praise on the movie after the first footage was released, with some even calling it the ‘movie of the year’.
Margot has been very busy despite sensationally announcing in 2023 that she would be stepping back from acting for a stint.
As well as appearing in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, the actress has been filming Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights adaptation alongside fellow Aussie Jacob Elordi.
Margot is also producing the classic via her production company LuckyChap Entertainment.
The Suicide Squad alum previously said she was planning on hitting the breaks following the success of her lead role in Barbie.
Speaking to Deadline, she said she intended to work off-screen after years of building her acting portfolio.

She added that she wanted to take a break from starring in movies as she thinks everyone is ‘sick’ of seeing her after her role in Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster.
‘I also think everyone’s probably sick of the sight of me for now. I should probably disappear from screens for a while,’ she said.
‘Honestly, if I did another movie too soon, people would say, “Her again? We just did a whole summer with her. We’re over it.” I don’t know what I’ll do next, but I hope it’s a little while away.’
