Margaret Qualley put on an elegant display as she attended the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
The actress, 30 – who recently revealed the reason filming The Substance was ‘really hard’ – joined other celebrities on the glitzy red carpet, such as Zendaya and Angelina Jolie.
The beauty – who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress – is notably the daughter of Hollywood star Andie MacDowell and model Paul J. Qualley.
She turned heads wearing a sleeveless, white Chanel gown that fell down towards the ground and contained a sheer, layered skirt.
A sparkling, black bow belt was wrapped around her midriff and Margaret also donned a pair of black shoes that were concealed by the hem of her dress.
Both the neckline and straps of the ensemble contained shimmering, beaded details for a flashy flare.

Qualley accessorized the look with dangly, glittering silver earrings as well as a chunky ring placed on her right hand.
Her voluminous dark locks were pulled back away from her face with a sparkling headband and the strands cascaded down past her shoulders.
The star’s makeup was classically done and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a light shadow around her eyes.
A pink blush was added to her cheekbones, while a glossy pink tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
Margaret flashed a cheerful smile as she showcased her glamorous look for the evening – but was not accompanied by her husband and record producer, Jack Antonoff.
While talking to Variety on the red carpet, she explained the reasoning behind his absence and stated, ‘He’s not here, he’s sick.’
‘But my dad’s here instead, so that’s nice. He actually has [attended the Golden Globes] before! I think it’s been, like, 20 years, but he’s here.’
Qualley and Antonoff said ‘I do’ in August 2023 after the pair first crossed paths in 2021.

During an interview with Elle UK in February 2024, the actress opened up about her romance with Jack – who is known for working with music artists such as Taylor Swift.
She recalled having a conversation with creative director, Virginie Viard, at the Chanel Haute Couture runway show in 2021.
‘I’d met Jack probably two weeks before, but I was head-over-heels in love right away. I had a sure, knowing feeling that he was my husband,’ Qualley said.
While getting a fitting done, she added, ‘I was talking about Jack and said to her, “I think I’ve just met a man I’m going to marry. And, Virginie, if I’m right, will you make me my wedding dress?” I said, “Give me two years…”‘
Margaret garnered a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role as Sue in the body horror film, The Substance.
The movie additionally starred Demi Moore, Dennis Quaid, Gore Abrams and also Oscar Lesage.
The premise is: ‘A fading celebrity takes a black-market drug: a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of herself,’ per IMDB.

Qualley then revealed that she wanted to possibly step away from the ‘obscure’ genre for future roles; seen in October 2024 in Georgia
She told Vogue Australia last month in December, ‘[Director Coralie Fargeat] wasn’t looking for happy accidents, it’s so controlled, so precise.’
‘It was very challenging to shoot because I get a lot of joy out of free-falling, out of the feeling that anything could happen at any moment.’
For the movie’s third act, Margaret wore prosthetics that took around six hours to apply each day – which gave her ‘anxiety.’
However, she expressed that Antonoff would reach out to her when she was on set to check in on her.
‘I would stay up all night dreading the prosthetics. I would have such anxiety about it… [Jack] was calling me to check in, because those were trying times.’

‘I’ve been in a lot of obscure, arty movies, and they’re not actually the movies I like to watch, and I think I wanna start being in stuff that I would wanna watch.’
The Substance garnered critical praise upon its release, and Margaret’s co-star Demi Moore was also nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Film, which she won.

Moore gave a moving speech and expressed, ‘I really wasn’t expecting that. I’m just in shock right now. I’ve been doing this a long time, like over 45 years and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor.’
‘I’m just so humbled and so grateful,’ she added before recalling how a producer had once called her a ‘popcorn actress’ in the past.
Moore said that at the time, she felt ‘this wasn’t something that I was allowed to have, that I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but that I couldn’t be acknowledged.’
‘And I bought in, and I believed that, and that corroded me over time, to the point where I thought a few years ago that maybe this was it, maybe I was complete, maybe I’ve done what I was supposed to do.’
Demi added, ‘And as I was at kind of a low point, I had this magical, bold, courageous, out of the box, absolutely bonkers script come across my desk called The Substance, and the universe told me that you’re not done.’

The pair also reunited during the event as they presented the award for Best Actor in a Television Series – Drama, which went to Hiroyuki Sanada

‘I’ll just leave you with one thing that I think this movie is imparting is in those moments when we don’t think we’re smart enough or pretty enough or skinny enough or successful enough, or basically just not enough.’
She later concluded with, ‘I celebrate this as a marker of my wholeness and of the love that is driving me and for the gift of doing something I love and being reminded that I do belong. Thank you so much.’
