Maren Morris, 35, has claimed she was groped by a fan at her Michigan show.
The Girl artist has been traveling around the country on her Dreamsicle Tour, and revealed that when she was in Grand Rapid on Thursday, her ‘personal space’ was invaded during a meet and greet.
Writing about the incident in her Instagram Stories after the show, she said, ‘Tonight’s show was so fun but someone grabbed my a** during meet and greet before the show.’
Meet and greets are often part of a VIP experience that fans pay extra to attend.
The Country Music Association Award winner said she would, ‘continue them because one person shouldn’t ruin it for everyone.’

‘Please know I’m there to connect, share, hug, all the things, but please don’t override someone’s personal space. Love you.’
Morris, who came out as bisexual in June 2024, did not identify the person who groped her.
Since her announcement, the Chasing After You singer has lost some fans, but said she needed to remain true to herself.
‘That was just a facet of me that I didn’t think I wanted private anymore. I wanted to be able to connect with my fans and my queer community,’ she told the TZR magazine in an interview published in May.
Her song, Push Me Over, was co-written with the queer band MUNA, and describes one of her first sexual experiences with a woman.
The Middle artist is still trying to navigate the aftermath of her divorce from fellow artist Ryan Hurd, 38. The two share five-year-old son Hayes.
Speaking on the Therapuss podcast in June, Morris shared an experience she had, or rather, didn’t have with a former friend.
‘In Nashville, you know I’ve been divorced for a little over a year now,’ she said. ‘It’s a small town and we’re all friends and we all work together, and the music industry is very tiny there.’

‘I’m really friendly with my ex and we have our son that’s always our biggest priority. It is weird because we were together for so long that so many of our friends had to sort of… .
‘Pick sides?’ host Jake Shane interjected. ‘Yeah, well just in terms of respect for each other,’ she replied.
‘I saw a really close friend of my ex’s at a bar a couple months ago, and I was with my best friend, and we all used to hang out together for a decade or more — and then it’s like, damn, it’s just going to be kind of weird. Maybe it’s just going to be weird for the first few years, I don’t know.’
Morris will continue crisscrossing North America through September 26. She’ll take a short break before taking her tour to Europe in November.
