Marcia Hines collapses in dressing room, rushed to hospital as Australian Idol appearance is canceled

Marcia Hines has been rushed to hospital following a ‘medical emergency’ Daily Mail Australia has learned. 

The Australia Idol judge, 70, collapsed in her dressing room on the set of the reality series on Sunday and injured her head in the fall. 

A source tells Daily Mail Australia Hines was ‘set to perform’ on the show before collapsing and was taken to hospital via ambulance. 

Daily Mail Australia understands that Hines is ‘in a stable condition now’ and her collapse was likely due to her diabetes. 

She will not be appearing on Australian Idol tonight and Guy Sebastian in filling in as judge.

Hines is a judge on the singing competition alongside Amy Shark and Kyle Sandilands.
