Mandy Moore revealed that the Altadena home she shares husband Taylor Goldsmith was partially burned down due to the Eaton fire as she joined many other celebrities whose homes unfortunately suffered similar fates.

The wildfires have been rapidly spreading across Los Angeles with firefighters conceding they remain powerless to contain the flames because of strong winds.

The 40-year-old  actress and singer – who gave a sad update the previous day – shared photos of the rubble along with a lengthy message beginning with the news that part of their home still remained standing.

She wrote: ‘We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss. Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It’s not livable but mostly intact.

‘We lost Taylor and griffin’s studio with every instrument and piece of equipment they’ve ever owned. We lost our garage and back house.’

Mandy went on to sadly reveal that everyone that they know in the area were not as fortunate – giving her a sense of survivors guilt – as they were as every house on their street is gone including the home of her in-laws.

The Candy hitmaker continued: ‘Everyone we know lost everything. Every house on our street is gone. My in laws.

‘My brother and sister in law- 6 weeks from welcoming their first baby. Our best friends. Feeling weird survivors guilt.

The star concluded her caption with a message of hope for the community in the Verdugo Mountains region of Los Angeles County, California.

Mandy wrote: ‘We love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support. Thanks for everyone for checking on us and offering us help. Altadena strong. ‘

Just a day prior the This Is US star had shared an emotional update after fleeing her family home with her children amid the devastating Pacific Palisades wildfires.

Sharing a photo with her youngest son Oscar, 23 months, the star revealed she and husband Taylor Goldsmith were staying with friends and had no idea if their Pasadena home had survived the Eaton fire.

She wrote: ‘Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night

‘Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel. Praying for everyone in our beautiful city

‘So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don’t know if our place made it #eatonfire.’ d.

On Tuesday, the This Is Us star, 40, took to her Instagram to share an update with her fans, assuring them she was safe.

‘Evacuated and safe with kids, dog and cats. Praying and grateful for the first responders,’ she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

The star shares sons August, three, and Oscar  as well as daughter Louise Everett, born in September 2024, with husband Taylor Goldsmith, 39.

Some areas within Pasadena have been under mandatory evacuation orders.

As the wildfire continues to ravage California’s Pacific Palisades, many celebrities have had to flee their luxurious homes as authorities warn of an ‘immediate threat to life.’

On Tuesday evening, Los Angeles City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson declared a state of emergency – while warning that the worst of the windstorm is ‘yet to come.’

    The ap
ocalyptic inferno has torn through the ritzy neighborhood, home to many A-list celebrities, including Ben Affleck, Jhene Aiko, Tom Hanks, and Miles Teller, among others.

Reality TV star Spencer Pratt, 41, and his wife Heidi Montage, 38, lost their home in Pacific Palisades due to the raging wildfire.

The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday that the Getty Villa, a museum designed in the image of an ancient Roman villa, was threatened by the wildfire.

Some of the vegetation on the museum estate had been burned, but the buildings on the campus were reportedly still safe, and the artwork and sculptures had been sealed to prevent smoke damage.

Katherine E. Fleming, the president and chief executive of the J. Paul Getty Trust, boasted in a statement that the Getty Villa had made ‘extensive efforts to clear brush from the surrounding area as part of its fire mitigation efforts throughout the year.’

‘Some trees and vegetation on site have burned, but staff and the collection remain safe,’ she said.

The dry and extremely windy condition have allowed a second fire to start in Altadena further east, which led residents in nearby Pasadena to evacuate.

As Westside residents rushed in a panic to escape at the last minute, numerous people got stuck in enormous traffic jams, including Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy.

Many drivers ultimately abandoned their cars in the streets and proceeded on foot, and fire crews were forced to bulldoze rows of cars in order to get into the affected areas.

Stars across Los Angeles are taking to social media to express their devastation over the destructive wildfire.

In response to the life-threatening fire, which has evacuated about 30,000 people as flames threatened more than 10,000 homes, some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Chris Pratt and his mother-in-law, Maria Shriver, are asking for prayers.

‘Please send prayers and strength tonight to everyone in Los Angeles affected by these devastating fires. Los Angeles is in a state of emergency and over 30,000 have been ordered to evacuate,’ Pratt, 45, captioned a slideshow, featuring a photo of a firefighter battling a blaze as well as views of smoke towering over Santa Monica.

He continued: ‘Thank you to the brave firefighters and first responders who are working tirelessly to protect lives, homes, and wildlife as they battle fast-moving wildfire fueled by fierce winds. You are true heroes, and we are endlessly grateful for your sacrifice and courage.’

The Guardians of the Galaxy star, who welcomed his third child with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger in November, urged his 45.2 million followers to ‘come together to support one another during this tough time.’

Shriver, 69, asked her followers to send their ‘prayers to Los Angeles,’ where ‘30,000 people have been ordered to evacuate as wildfires burn out of control.’

‘Almost 1200 acres of land are on fire, with gusts of wind that could reach up to 100 m.p.h., threatening even more damage, forcing more people from their homes, and causing destruction. It’s moments like this that make us recognize what truly matters — that things are only things,’ she stated. ‘Please pay attention if you are asked to evacuate.’

The Former First Lady of California reminded those in Los Angeles to ‘stay informed’ and applauded the men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department and public officials that were working ‘tirelessly’ to protect their city and keep everyone safe.

Later, she took to her Instagram Story to ask those that are able to ‘leave bowls of water outside’ for wild animals fleeing from the fires.

Her daughter, Katherine, shared a list of helpful apps and resources, including the KTLA App for live updates, Alert LA County for emergency alerts and Notify LA.

Julianne Hough, who lives in Hollywood Hills, shared footage from her backyard, which showed a Canadair CL-415, a yellow airplane that is used to fight forest fires, flying through smoke.

‘Praying for everyone that had to evacuate and for the first responders and firefighters,’ she wrote on the video, uploaded to her Instagram Story.
