Mandy Moore showed off a large abdomen scar in a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Dr. Death, that was shared on her Instagram Story on Friday.
The 39-year-old performer, who recently opened up about working after giving birth to her second son, pulled up her shirt and showed off the gash to her 5.5 million followers, and she added a text graphic that read ‘also ick. Iykyk.’
It appeared that the prosthetic scar had been applied during the production of the second season of the show, in which she is set to appear.
Moore was also spotted while stepping out on a pre-Christmas shopping trip in Studio City on Friday afternoon.
The performer stayed comfortable in a black sweater and a pair of loose-fitting blue jeans during her shopping trip.

The This Is Us actress also wore beige shoes and accessorized with a pair of purses and chic sunglasses.
Her voluminous brunette hair fell onto her shoulders and paired well with the dark tone of her clothing.

In one snap, the performer’s child was seen while taking a nap on the set of the true crime series.
In another, the actress smiled widely as she spent a bit of quality time with her youngest son in between shoots.
Moore also added a text graphic to her post to let her fans know that she, as well as Ozzie, ‘had a blast’ while working on the project.
It was revealed that the performer had been added to the cast of Dr. Death’s second season this past November.
The show is based on the podcast of the same name, and it originally premiered on Peacock in July of 2021.

The first season of Dr. Death followed the case of Christopher Duntsch, a former neurosurgeon who maimed and killing several individuals in his care.
The second run of episodes will be focused on Paolo Macchiarini, an Italian surgeon who was convicted of experimenting on his patients.
Also set to star alongside Moore are Edgar Ramirez, Ashley Madekwe and Luke Kirby.
Dr. Death’s second season was entirely released on Peacock on Thursday, and it currently holds a score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.
