Pamela Anderson looked effortlessly chic as she headed to a press event in Paris on Thursday to promote her latest movie, The Last Show Girl.
The former Baywatch star, 57, has admitted she now ‘feels so free’ as she opened up about being in this new stage of her career.
The actress, who has two sons, Brandon, 28, and Dylan, 26, admitted she could never have taken on projects like The Last Show Girl when her children were young.
Speaking to Sky News, the actress and model explained: ‘I do have a lot to give, so now I just feel so free. I couldn’t have done anything like this when I had kids because my focus was with them.’
‘Now that they’re grown and they’re doing well and they’re thriving, that gives me the opportunity to be able to play in this universe.’
She added: ‘My sons are so protective of me and their goal is just to say: “Mom, we just want you to be able to know that you focused on us as kids and we want you to have the opportunity to shine and to reach your potential as an actress”.’

She complemented the outfit with a black wool coat and topped it off with a chic black beret.
Pamela embraced her natural beauty, going makeup-free and letting her golden locks cascade freely down her shoulders.
Since 2019, the mother-of-two has drastically moved away from her signature make-up and pledged to stop wearing it altogether following the devastating loss of a close friend.
Pamela revealed the loss of her close friend Alexis Vogel, who was also her long-time make-up artist, is what sparked her to stop wearing make-up entirely.
Speaking to People Magazine, she explained: ‘Make-up has a time and a place. I just feel in my personal life, it just didn’t really make sense.’
The actress has been busy in London promoting her new drama movie, which has seen her nominated for her first ever Golden Globe.
She was up for Best Actress in a Drama for her portrayal of a Las Vegas showgirl but was ultimately beaten to the award by Fernanda Torres, who won for I’m Still Here.

Earlier this week, Pamela reflected on her break from acting and told how she felt a ‘kind of sadness’ before her incredible career resurgence.
Speaking about her comeback on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, Pamela said she was ‘enjoying the moment’ and branded it a ‘really wonderful’ thing to be happening at this stage in her life.
Asked if she saw it as a new chapter, she said: ‘I hope so. There are lots of things in the works, so I am deciding what I want to do next.’
‘I want challenging roles, I want to transform and see what I am made of. I feel like I have only just scratched the surface.’
Recalling how her part in The Last Showgirl came about, Pamela said she felt she had to grab the part ‘by the throat and do it’ when she first received the script.
‘I was making pickles and writing a cookbook and making my life beautiful no matter what but I had this kind of sadness thinking I had so much more to give,’ she shared.
‘So, when the script arrived I thought, ‘I am going to grab this part by the throat and do it.’

Discussing the film’s plot, she shared: ‘It’s a very relatable story and I had a lot of empathy for the character – I fell in love with her. It is a very touching and beautiful and not at all violent or exploitative towards women.’
Pamela continued: ‘We shot the movie in 18 days, which was wild. Playing Roxy in Chicago on Broadway was the warm-up for this role and I am so proud to be a part of it. I love independent cinema, and I can’t wait to do more’.
After earning a Golden Globe nomination and a Screen Actors Guild Awards nomination, many were hoping Pamela would score her first Oscar nomination this year.
Unfortunately, the actress’ name wasn’t called when the 97th Academy Awards nominations were revealed.
While some consider her exclusion a snub, Pamela herself insisted that she wasn’t expecting her name to be called at all.
‘Oh my gosh, it’s not something I ever expected. Doing the work is the win,’ she told Elle.

‘That’s what I like to do, and I think we can lose sight of that sometimes in this whole crazy awards season, but it’s nice to be recognised, and it’s all a bonus,’
The Last Showgirl marked her first starring role in many years, as Pamela added that she was more than happy with the accolades she’d already received.
‘I couldn’t imagine [it] anyway. I’m happy for the SAG nomination, that’s [voted on by] your peers. That’s really cool. This has been a long road promoting this film,’ she said.
She added that the success of The Last Showgirl is ‘the best payback’ after the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy, which chronicled the leak of her and Tommy Lee’s sex tape.
‘It’s just one of those things. It happened and now I’m here and so this is the best payback… I’m being seen and recognised for my work and not these tawdry moments,’ she said on Andy Cohen’s Sirius XM show Radio Andy.
