A Married At First Sight wedding guest has broken his silence on his shock falling out with bride Lauren Hall.
Nicholas Stankiewicz has sensationally claimed that Lauren has blocked him on all platforms—abruptly ending their 18-year friendship in the aftermath of her on-screen wedding.
Stankiewicz, who served as the emcee at Lauren’s wedding to groom Eliot Donovan, said he was heartbroken over the unexpected snub.
‘I don’t know why she just blocked me out of no where. We have always had a beautiful friendship, and I have always supported her,’ Nicholas told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Lauren worked for me for a few years before she started her business and I’ve always been in her corner. You would think after nearly two decades of friendship we’d be able to talk if there was an issue, but instead I’ve been completely cut off. It’s shocking.’
Nicholas said he only discovered he had been blocked when mutual friends informed him.
‘I never signed up for MAFS, I was just there to support her. But now I’ve been dragged into this whole thing and subjected to online bullying and speculation. And to top it all off, she’s blocked me without any explanation,’ he added.

Nicholas remains at a loss as to why Lauren cut him out of her life so suddenly, but believes her experience on the reality TV show may have played a role.
‘There was no argument, no falling out, just silence. I think this whole experiment has been an emotional tidal wave for everyone and unfortunately I got caught in the crossfire,’ he said.
He also questioned whether their long-standing friendship was ever truly reciprocated.
‘I’ve helped her move house, supported her business and even taken care of her dog when she travelled. But looking back, she never really supported me in the same way. I’m also in real estate and she recently sold a house for someone else without even considering me. That was a slap in the face,’ he said.
‘She’s come to my family Christmases, my parents’ birthdays and I’ve always been there for her. But now I get blocked? I just don’t understand.’
Despite his disappointment, Nicholas insists he isn’t angry, just hurt and embarrassed by how things have unfolded.
‘I feel like she’s thrown away a good friendship, and once someone crosses that line with me there’s no going back. I hope MAFS is everything she wanted, but she you later alligator.’

Nicholas confirmed that his last conversation with Lauren was a week before she left town and since then she hasn’t reached out.
‘Not a word. No check-in, nothing. And I think that’s disgusting,’ he added.
He also addressed speculation about Lauren’s relationship with their mutual friend and her sister Tamara, who derailed her wedding this week.
‘They’re sisters and no matter what happens they’ll always have each other’s backs. I won’t comment on their relationship, but I will say that I’m disgusted by how Lauren has treated me,’ he said.

Nicholas hinted that jealousy could have played a role in Lauren’s decision to block him.
‘Maybe a little bit of jealousy? My personality, my friendships and the fact that I’m respected by so many people—I don’t know. But I met Lauren through Tamara who is actually my best friend.’
He also revealed that Lauren once worked for him as a personal assistant and office manager, though she was always reluctant to acknowledge it.
‘She never wanted to be on my company’s website and she was embarrassed by the role. Looking back, maybe that was a red flag,’ he said.
Nicholas admitted that while he was heartbroken, he now sees the situation as a blessing in disguise.
‘She really stuffed up. I was a true friend to her and she wasn’t to me. So thank you for blocking me,’ he said.

He also dismissed claims that he was speaking out for attention.
‘People say I’m doing this for fame, but what fame? I didn’t sign up for the show, I was only on-screen for 30 seconds. I was just there to support a friend and this is how I get repaid. It’s dramatic and unnecessary.’
Nicholas confirmed that Lauren never invited him to her second wedding, further solidifying their estrangement.
‘I was obviously just a part of the MAFS storyline. Once my role was done, I was discarded. It’s really disappointing,’ he added.
